New version of the Flatlands in medium size with 4 different locations and more balance. Additional new game modes: small & medium villages with adapted map size, population and raider limits. Additional: easy versions without raiders.

Hey,

<ford_distance_factor value="1"/> in the environments file determines the space between the flat parts of the river (where people can walk over without swimming).
You can compare the old and the new environment files. Both are still included in this workshop item.

Hello! Could you please advice, how do you make deeper and wider rivers? I cannot find any settings for that in xml files.

Are there any mods that make the defensive walls stronger? It is super irritating to spend so much time building walls, just to have raiders break them down in 2 seconds. Stone walls should not break that easily!

I guess you play on the current experimental branch(1.6 Armor Update).

If so it might be related to the new raider fleeing mechanics.
Or a mixup with the terrain, where they cannot leave the map.
If you can recreate it or make a video if it happens again it might help, sending the savegame to madruga might also help.

If it occurs again take some screenshots! Wanna see that! :D

hey, anyone have the raiders run by your camp, cross the map to the opposite side and run up and down the mountain in a continuous loop? There were about 60 of them....lol

mines are way too far out losing too many people by dehydration or starvation like i lost 200 over 6 hour

raiders appear laters as usual. be prepared. except you play a "easy version-scenario".

It would be no option, more like a new scenario with tha animal values set to extinction.

Animal Values are really easy to adjust.
(Less animals do not really balance what i intended to say. you get +1 or +2 kp for every animal you hunted the first time)
But it is really no problem.

More northlands means longer winters? have you tried everwinter? :D
Lenght of seasons are very easy to adjust too.

The flat rivers are only present in this workshop item, it was not intended and changing it would kill savegames. No Mills in medium flatlands - except on lakes :-(

I invite you to copy the medium flatlands folder 1710378799 from inside your steam folder to C:\Users\%USERNAME%\Documents\DawnOfMan\Scenarios.

Change the stuff you want change and have a lot of fun! :-)
