Yes, any stat change mods work immediately during an existing save just fine.

Hey, thanks for the mod. I like wearing hats (love the whole Ronin aesthetic), but I felt bad because they were practically useless unless your a crossbowman. This makes them actually helpful, but by no means overpowered, which I like.

The basket hat only has very slight damage resistance. Everything else is the same as vanilla such as the dust storm protection was not changed.

How does the Basket Hat look at the end? It is not clear to me if he has 100% protection from the duststorm or if gets a bonus to something.

i kept that because the other hats like the iron hat has 70% because most of them have a slope it seems about 50% but i kept it

...Sigh ...smh. :/ a straw hat should cover anywhere between 15 to 18% not 70. 0 head defence is realistic for these hats because they are not armor and they never were.
