描述
San Rafael. California

This map is scaled at 17x17 kms as a Height Map and is based on the real area of San Rafael in the Bay Area, California.
There are nearly 600K trees on the map and a basic highway and main road network. There is one main rail line as per the real city, but i added a second on the edge to a resource area.
The resources on the map are placed where natural marshes are in the shallow areas near the water. A fair bit of work as gone into the coastal landscaping, smoothing edges and making the marina's true to life.

There is a small airport with an airline route. There are also two shipping routes.

There are fertile areas in many of the valleys nearer the mountains.

I have used Waiheke as the theme.

The last two images are in game mode, using After Dark and Relight Bleak LUT.

is there an elevated pedestrian boardwalk from netext2 in here? it doesn't seem to be replaceable with the nexext2 replacement networks. wanna play this map so bad but nextext2 is bad

hi wot non-highway zonable roads did you use on starting tile? i have replaced NetExt2 with RON and was hoping to just subscribe to the few specific assets in the NetExt replacement collection which match the NetExt2 roads used here.

I've uploaded San Rafael without roads. I also needed to smooth some of the coastal edges and I added a few more trees. I hope it loads for you.

Hi Quelmotz,
It's been a long time since I loaded up this map and it's also been a couple of months since I have even played Skylines, but I will load up San Rafael in the Map Editor and look at removing the roads and reloading it as a non infrastructure map.

Would you mind uploading a version of the map without any networks (or using alternative networks, but it's probably less work to just use move it and select all networks and delete them)? I love the look of the map but Network Extensions 2 is now incompatible with many new mods so I'm unable to load the map. Thanks! (Totally understand if you're too busy to do this).
