1. Go to your Steam Might and Magic: Heroes VI directory
Example: E:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Might and Magic Heroes VI

2. Right click on the "Might & Magic Heroes VI.exe "

3. Select "Properties"

4. Select "Compatibility"

5. Check "Disable Fullscreen Optimizations"

6. Hit Apply.

7. Play Might & Magic Heroes VI

1. Go to your Steam Might and Magic: Heroes VI directory

For anybody seeing this recently, you have to change your profile data in windows notepad. Change <gfx_Fullscreen2>Fullscreen</gfx_Fullscreen2> to <gfx_Fullscreen2>Windowed</gfx_Fullscreen2> and it will launch in windowed mode just fine.

I just loaded the game and it works with windows 11, verify your files and make sure your graphics driver is up to date. There was an update today so make sure your steam is up to date as well, also it takes a while for ubisoft to connect and the game to start so maybe wait and see if that is the problem.

I am using windows 11 and it not work even I follow the guides. anyone know a fix? Thanks

i followed the instructions, but still get dark screen after launching the shades of darkness campaign. This only applies to shades of darkness expansion set, but not the main campaign. Is there any patches update to correct this?

y todas las misiones de todas las campañas estan completadas, cosa que no deberian estarlas.

SI ALGUIEN HABLA ESPAÑOL...como puedo resolver problemas de sonido. en en monitor funciona pero no en el parlante grande, y otra cosa, porque no me deja seguir jugando en modo online y cuando quiero reiniciar una misión es diferente e individual y no con los mismos niveles de dicho heroe, gracias

IF SOMEONE SPEAKS SPANISH...how can I solve sound problems. On the monitor it works but not on the large speaker, and another thing, because it doesn't let me continue playing in online mode and when I want to restart a mission it is different and individual and not with the same levels of said hero, thank you
