Unused Metal Shelf

Omschrijving
I might be the first person to discover this.

Inside the texture for the wooden shelfs used in various maps has a Unused Metal bodygroup (alt skin) inside both the texture sheet and the ref sheet.

This mod replaces the wooden shelf with the Unused Metal variant, inculding the ref texture.


If anyone wants to restore this unused metal shelf texture for a RNG texture mod for the shelfs, feel free. I would love to see this functionality restored to what it was suppost to be.

It's a small thing, but I prefer this over the weird flat brownish-yellow texture of the regular shelves

The version of these shelfs used in L4D are made of wood (or some brown material), While these are suppose to be gray Metal shelfs.

I don't know how to make bodygroups for models. If I did I would've done that in the first place.


I'm hoping with this brought to attention, hopefully someone more skilled than I am can add bodygroups back into this.

This could probably be made to have bodygroups rather than replace it with the white metal texture. Looks great either way.

All I did was take the unused metal textures and adjust them over the used wooden one, that's it.
