Just playing with the particle editor again. There are a few options you can change in the settings

Enable post processing in wallpaper engine settings to get the full glow.

works across multiple monitors, if you set your layout to "stretch single wallpaper" and change your alignment to "center"

added extra options for
-trail length and direction
-particle movement direction
-particle size

Fixed the screen edge flash bug when the particles were coming towards the screen

not really, anything other then black would break the light and glow effects, even if you turned those off theres no way of loading a dynamic image into a scene wallpaper so you would need to make a custom version of this. so its technically possible but it would probably break the wallpaper
