The New Church [en.wikipedia.org] on the Gendarmenmarkt in Berlin, colloquially known as "Deutscher Dom" because of the dome on top. The original church building was constructed 1701-1708. In 1780, the tower was added in the same style as the tower of the neighbouring French Chruch. The church was remodelled in 1880/81 to its present state. Heavily damaged during World War II, it was reconstructed only from 1977 to 1988. It is no longer a church but houses a museum on the parliamentary history of Germany.

Thank you for the kind words, everyone. I have been pretty busy lately, but I hope that it won't be too long before I can add the other church on Gendarmenmarkt (Französischer Dom) as well. I might slip in a museum before that, though...
