How to create functioning Nav-Ladders

With my latest released nextbot, I boasted that it could climb ladders!
But because Gmod is Gmod, it won't actually do this until you perform unpaid manual labour!
This guide shows you how to do that.

[PLEASE READ ME FIRST]
This guide assumes that you have read the original nav-mesh guide, and know what a nav-mesh is and how to generate it.
This guide also assumes that the map you are on already has a nav-mesh.
If it doesn't, or if you haven't read the original nav-mesh guide, you can access it here

There isn't really much of an introduction to place here, other than offering some prerequisite notes, so here they are:

Please note that Ladder climbing in gmod is still extremely buggy, and majority of ladders in maps simply won't work, or will cause crazy glitches to happen like the nextbot falling through walls.
DO NOT ATTEMPT TO USE LADDER-CLIMBING FUNCTIONALITY IN MULTIPLAYER.
Please only do this on ladders that have land behind them, ladders that require you to press E to land to the side/back, or ladders that require you to jump off WILL NOT WORK!

Anyway, moving on...

Step 1 -- Enabling Nav Edit mode

... Well that was easy wasn't it?

If you did it right, this should have replaced your crosshair.

Step 2 -- Building your ladder.

Very simply; now that you have nav edit mode on, aim at a ladder, and type in console

nav_build_ladder

If you've done it right, a grid-shape should appear covering the entire ladder, like this.

Step 3 -- Saving your navigation mesh

Well building ladders is all fine and well, easily done. But if you want to avoid having to do it every single time you load the map simply run this command in console.

nav_save

... And that's it! Congratulations, you can now experience

INTENSE LADDER CLIMBING
