Introduction
Welcome to my guide. I was missing an achievement guide for this game, so I decided to put everything I learned here, to help other people in this task.

I must say that English is not my native language. If you find any mistakes, fell free to correct me.

There is a wide range of difficulty for the achievements in this game. Some are pretty simple, and some are very very difficulty. You must really become good at the game, but it comes with time, perseverance and training. It will not be easy, but this is exactly what gives the most rewarding feeling when you complete them.

Before I start, there are some guides I would like to recommend:

For bosses weakness:
https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=564711913
For item descriptions:
https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=575558803
Don't worry about learning everything right away. Keep those guides under you favorites, and consult them when you need.
Progression Achievements
Payday
Complete level 4

Long Weekend
Complete level 8

Survivor
Complete the game

There is not much to say about those achievements. The description is quite clear. Be warned that by playing on easy mode, you don't unlock achievements, so you must choose Normal or higher difficulty.

I recommend you to learn the bosses’ weakness to make your life easier, but the normal weapon is quite effective against the bosses on the early stages.
Challenge Run Achievements
The teleporters for those runs are on the top right section of the HQ. We have weekly runs, daily runs, seed runs and more, but only the Daily Challenges and the Rush Job have any related achievements.

Challenger
Complete a Daily Challenge.

Contender
Complete 10 Daily Challenges.

You can do only one Daily Challenge per day. You must finish the run. If you die, this run will not count towards this achievement.

Sorry to Jet
Complete a Rush Job.

The Rush Job is a sequence where you battle only bosses. You start on the corridor before the boss gate, that may contain a Vending Machine/Shop/Slot Machine and crates. After the boss battle, you obtain two additional chests, that appears before the gate for the next stage. To complete this achievement, you need to beat all the eight bosses and the two final bosses.
Grinding Achievements
The following achievements are cummulative, and should be collected through multiple runs.

Reincarnation
Die 50 times.

Exactly as described. Get killed 50 times, and the achievement is yours.

Persistence
Start a third run in a single game session.

You can play three consecutive runs, or to be fast you can just start a run, pause the game and return to the HQ, then repeat until you get the achievement.

Get Lucky!
Win 250 Slot Machine prizes.

Slot machines are randomly found before the boss gate, at the end of the stage. You need to collect tokens to use on those machines. You must win something on the machine to count toward this achievement.
If you manage to collect the Entropy Lock augment, all your future attempts on the current run will be successful.

Arsenal
Unlock everything in the Soul Shop.

The Soul Shop is located at the left/bottom part of the HQ. You need to unlock everything here to get this achievement.
You need to collect Soul Chips to unlock those items. Soul Chips can be earned by killing glowing enemies that spawns over the stages. They are tougher than regular enemies, and drops Soul Chips when blown up. Also, after beating the boss stage, you will find a Soul Chip just before the teleporters to the next stages.

Specific Task Achievements (no random factor)
Those achievements can be done without problem on any run. The random generation of items or levels have no influence on them.

Powerful
Complete the game with 8 Powers.

After each boss fight, you have a choice to get his weapon, a nut bonus or another augment. For this achievement, you must choose the boss power for all the 8 bosses.

Vanilla
Complete the game with the default primary weapon and no Powers.

Opposed to the previous achievement, you must skip all the Bosses powers. Since you won’t have any powers, you can ignore items that raises your energy or power strength, and focus on items that raise your attack strength.

The Cycle
Deliver a boss' killing blow with its weakness.

Like the description says, you need to land the killing blow with the boss weakness. You may lower their HP with any other means, but the last bit of HP must be taken with it’s weakness.

Air Time
Don't touch any surfaces for 10 seconds (Endless Mode not eligible).

The most effective way to get this achievement is using Vera, the power you obtain after beating the Perforator boss. Vera can be shot in any of the four cardinal directions. When you aim below, you will be lifted in the air. Keep shooting down until you reach the time required. This weapon don't require much energy to use, it should be very easy to get this one, even if you have low reserves of energy.

Free Candy!
Destroy a vending machine -- a victimless crime.

The description of this one is quite deceiving. The correct method is by using the Quint Laser, the power obtained from the boss Kur. This weapon can be charged twice, and shot at the vending machine. It will fall to the ground, dropping its contents.
Note that if you keep buying the machine's content, it will eventually blow up (effectively destroying it), but this does not trigger the achievement.

Heartless
Forsake your only true friend.

Remember Al, the boss of the training stage? He is being held in a cage, in the corridor right after you beat the last boss.
Usually, you must free him, to help you destroy the door that prevents you to proceed. To get this achievement, you must not free him. Just be warned that the door Is very strong. If you are too weak, you may not be able destroy the door before the explosion reaches you.

Last Breath
Complete the game with 1 HP remaining (and no armor).

After beating the last boss, proceed to the escaping pod. Don’t worry about your HP yet, you don’t need to keep it low for now. When you reach the final part, you will have to jump the last four pits of lava before you finish. Don't proceed to the escape pod yet. Keep falling on the last pit until you have one HP left, than finish the game.
Specific Task Achievements (with random factor)
The following achievements will require some luck to get, but sometimes you can give your luck a little help.

Get Equipped
Complete a Core Set.

You have to equip all four pieces of the same Core Augments for this achievement. There is an effective way to help your luck here. When you are able to undevelop items (see the section Hints and Tips at the end of the guide), you can choose one set of armor and undevelop every other set pieces. This way, on the next run, you will drastically increase the chance to find the set you want. Even if you can't undevelop every other piece of armor, the chances are still high.
And I should mention that this achievement can be earned in an Endless Run. Even if you don't undevelop other cores, eventually you will be able to find all the parts of a set, if you reach far enough.
When you pick up the item Thrillseeker, Glory Zones will always appear on the next stages. Keep an eye for this item. If you can buy it on the shop at the HQ, it is even better.

Taste the Rainbow
Equip four non-matching Cores at the same time.

The very opposite of the previous achievement. You must get four non-matching Augment Cores. The same hints applies here.

Scrooge
Have 250 nuts at once (Endless Mode not eligible).

The items that will help you here are the following:
Scrapmetal Scavenger: nut drop up.
Seven Leaf Clover: everything drop up
Nut Replicator: Increase 20% of your unspent nuts at the end of stage
Charging Magnet: You will be able to attract dropped items while charging, preventing those precious nuts from falling into a pit.

You can try to get one of those items in the HQ (see Hints and Tips section). You should avoid spend any nuts on shops unless for the above mentioned items.

To help increasing the amount of nuts on the stages, you can choose Defiant Mode, and turn on the folowing Skulls:
Swarm: More enemies = more nuts dropped
Marathon: Longer stages = more enemies = more nuts dropped

Another small hint: Use your Quint Laser to destroy all Red Vending Machines you encounter. This way you don't have to spend you HP to get nuts from them.

Lab Rat
Complete the game with at least 3 Prototypes and no System Restore.

You have to find three or more Very Safe Labs in the game, and accept the Prototype Augment contained there.
The item The Volunteer will make all the in-level shops turn into Very Safe labs, increasing your chances to find them. If you are luck to get this Augment right at the beginning, try to focus on getting this achievement.
You can't use System Restore, so you must keep the handicap until the end of the run.

Unstoppable
Have 50 Maximum HP at once (Endless Mode not eligible).

In a good run I usually finish with about 30 HP. It will require a bit of luck to reach 50 HP in a normal run. To help you a little bit, keep an eye on the following Prototype Augments:
Earthmetal Plating: Reset your Attack and Power damage to zero and convert them into HP/Energy. If your Atttack Power is high enough, it will give you good boost in your HP.
Hysteria: Every item you pick up will be doubled. That will really boost every HP pick up you get.
Also, for items:
Vendsmasher: When you destroy a vending machine, it may drop an item. Usually, green vending machines have a chance to become a heart container.

Reveries
End a run with at least 50 Soul Chips.

It is not uncommon to get more than 50 Soul Chips in a normal run, but if you want to make sure, go to an endless run, and you can get much more than that. When you quit to the HQ with more than 50 Soul Chips, you will earn this achievement.

Armored Core
Complete the game with 1 or fewer maximum HP.

There are some items that will reduce your max HP, but the real hint for this achievement is its icon. The Final Shell is a Prototype that will reduce your HP to 1 and every max HP lost will give you 2 armor points. When you find this Prototype, avoid picking up any HP increment.

Honor and Glory
Complete the game after entering and achieving glory in all Glory Zones.

You must find a Glory Zone on the first eight stages AND beat them. The item Thrillseeker will make Glory Zones appear on all the future stages on the current run. If you buy it on the HQ with Soul Chips (see the Hints and Tips Section), you can make sure that all the eight stages will contain Glory Zones.
Boss Related achievements (part 1)
The following achievements must be done while fighting the boss on the 8th stage. The bosses are tougher, and the hazards around them are more dangerous.
At the end of each boss strategy, I will add a video that may help you, if my explanation isn't very clear.

Overgrowth
On Level 8, defeat Death Lotus with 10 Lotus Spawns alive.

Recommended:
Boomerang Blade
High Power Damage
Flame Shield / Force Nova / High HP

Not Recommended:
Attacking Repros

In the first part of the battle, focus on depleting Death Lotus HP. When you see that Death Lotus HP is low enough, stop attacking him, and let the Lotus Spawn accumulate.
In the meantime you have either to avoid damage, by using Force Nova or Flame Shield against the projectiles, or just have a good amount of HP, to be able to survive. The best spot to stay is on the ceiling on either side.
After 10 Lotus Spawns appears on the screen, be prepared to shoot your Boomerang against Death Lotus. If your Power and HP are high enough, you will not have much trouble with this battle.
You don't want to bring attacking Repros to this fight because they can accidentally kill the Lotus Spawns, or even the Death Lotus itself before you can set up the scenario for the achievement.

Provoke
On Level 8, defeat Vile Visage by breaking his horn while he's at or very near full health,
then only using basic (including charged) attacks.

Mandatory:
Mortar

Recommended:
Armatort's Pound

Vile Visage will start summoning some enemies and attacking you with his projectiles. Don’t damage him too much on the beginning. Wait until he raises his shield, then go in front of him and shoot your Mortar power on him. This will break his horn, preventing him from raising the shield again. After that, use only your normal attacks, don’t use any power. I'm not sure if Repros damag counts, but avoid bringing them for this battle.
Power Strength doesn’t matter in this fight. It is only necessary to the initial attack, so keep focusing on you Attack Strength. This way your basic attacks deals more damage on him.
Armatort's Pound allows your charged shots to erase enemies’ projectiles. If you manage to get this core augment, you can stay a bit far from him, charging and attacking, not worrying about dodging. This augment works wonders with Forkalator or Star Beam in this fight.

Video:

Dr. Device
On Level 8, defeat 50 Flapps and Eternal Star within two seconds using Force Nova.

Mandatory Items:
Force Nova

Recommended:
Mobility Augs
High HP / Shield

Basically, you must deplete Eternal Star's HP by any means you can, leaving him with a very low level. Don't bring any attacking Repros for this fight, as they can kill the boss before you have enough flaps spawns on the screen, ruining your attempt.
After that, keep dodging his attacks as long as you can. Mobility here will help you escape from his attacks. You can use any leg Core Augment you like (I go for double jump), also speed and jump height increments are good. Also, you want as much HP as you can. Shield is even better, because you don't suffer knockback when being hit.
One thing to note in this fight is that you don't need to hit Eternal Star directly with the Force Nova. You must hit one of the Flaps that he spawns. They will explode, killing other Flaps nearby. The chain reaction of explosions will kill Eternal Star.
It is difficulty to keep track of how many Flaps are on the screen, so keep fighting until you can, and when you are running low on HP, try to group the flaps on the center of the screen and use Force Nova on them.

Video:

Move Like They Do
On Level 8, survive for 60 seconds without taking damage during The Perforator fight.

Recommended:
Splinterfrost
Armatort's Pound + Forkalator

First, go to the option menu and enable the timer, so you can keep track of the duration of the battle. Start the battle by disabling the fire cannons on the four corners of the screen. You can disable them with the Splinterfrost, obtained from Shatterbeak.
Stay on the lower part of the screen. Perforator will move only on the rails, and his body cannot touch you there. Before he moves, he hints his path with blinks of light on the rail. Avoid collision with him, staying on the bottom part of the screen.
Now you have to avoid damage for 60 seconds. It is not really hard, if you have the correct setup. You can always dodge his shots, going around the screen, and using Force Nova or Flame Shield when needed. But the most effective way I found was to use the combination of Armatort's Pound and the Forkalator weapon. With this combo, you can erase enemies shots in a wide range, with your charged attacks. Stay in one corner, far from him, and keep your weapon charged. When his shots are going at your direction, release the fire, and erasing them. Repeat until the 60 seconds have passed.
Try to not damage him too much. If you deplete too much of his HP, his attacks will be more dangerous and he will move faster and more often. You should keep focus on preventing damage, not hitting him. Also, if you kill him too fast (very unlikely, but possible), the achievement will not be triggered.

Boss Related achievements (part 2)
Heavy Metal
On Level 8, defeat Kur after reflecting all of his Quint Laser attacks.

Mandatory:
Vera

Recommended:
Force Nova or Flameshield
Armatort's Pound + Forkalator

The objective here is to not let any Quint Laser (the large yellow squares, shot by Kur) go off screen. You must shoot them with Vera, so they go back to Kur and damage him. You know they were reflected when they turn blue and change directions.
Stay on the opposite platform right above Kur, and dodge his other attacks. You may use Force Nova or Flame Shield to avoid moving too much. When he starts shooting quint lasers, shoot them back with Vera. Remember that Vera can be shot up and down. When Kur start shooting lasers in a vertical pattern, you don't need to keep changing platforms to shoot the lasers.
It doesn’t matter if some of the reflected lasers don’t hit Kur, as long as you deflect them all.
Repeat until he is dead. You may damage him with other attacks, to speed things up.
You need to be careful when dodging his other attacks, because you need to focus on his Quint Lasers. If you move too much, you may miss his Lasers. Using Force Nova or Flameshield will help you to move less around the screen. The most effective way is to use Armatort's Pound + Forkalator, because you can erase his flames without moving at all.

Video:

Not Cool
On Level 8, defeat Shatterbeak without letting him use any interruptible abilities.

Mandatory:
Quint Laser

Recommended:
High Power Strength

Shatterbeak dashes around the screen while shooting ice shards. The room itself is full or ice missiles, so it is better not to move too much. Use flame shield (optional) and stay on the middle lower platform, charging your Quint Laser.
When Shatterbeak stop dashing, he is going to throw Ice shards at you. At this moment, release the Quint Laser on him. You will interrupt his attack, and he will dash around again. Repeat until he is dead. You need to focus on Power Strength, so your Quint Lasers deal good Damage on him, specially the charged ones.
You may try to dodge his attacks, or you can just have a good HP/armor pool so you don’t die. Armor is preferable, so you don’t suffer knockback. When he stops, it is best to sacrifice some HP to get closer to him, so you can hit him with your charged Quint Lasers.

Video:

Hard Hat Zone
On Level 8, defeat both Twin Astrals with falling platforms.

Recommended:
High HP/Shield

Not Recommended:
Attacking Repros

To get this achievement, the killing hit on both Twin Astrals must be done with falling platforms. It doesn't matter if you use any other means to lower their HP.
Try to keep their HP at the same level, without killing one of them. If that happens, the other one will become berserk and will shoot more projectiles, and faster. The one that was killed will ressurect after a set amount of time, but I'm not sure that the achievement will still count, so don't kill them accidentally.
I like the combination Armatort's Pound + Forkalator/Star Beam, because you can stay in a corner, using charged shots to erase their projectiles and damage them, without much troble. I don't like to bring any Attacking Repros to this fight, because they can kill the Twins accidentally, ruining your attempt.
Test using falling platforms in the beginning of the fight to see how much damage you deal to them. When you lower their HP enough to kill them with platforms , wait for a good opportunity to go to the ceiling and step on the platforms above, making them fall and crush on the twin's heads.
Note: According to Aethelia, even if you accidentally kill one of the twins without using platforms, you can wait it to revive, then use platforms to kill them again, and you still get the achievement.

Video:

Quadrakill
On Level 8, defeat all four Rollsters within a single three-second window.

Recommended:
Flame Shield
High Power Strength
Low Attack Strength

Not Recommended:
Attacking Repros

In short, the objective here is to make Rollster split in four smaller ones, and reduce their HP to be able to kill them in one final attack.
At the 8th stage, if you deplete Rollster’s HP, he will split in two, and each one will split in two again. Try to avoid dealing too much damage on the smaller Rollster before he is split in four.
When there are four Rollsters on the screen, you must keep track of their HP individually. With a low Attack Strength, you can fire each one to identify which bar is from which Rollster, without killing them by mistake. Keep focus on one at a time, and try to reduce their HP to about 20%. It really depends on your power attack, but it should be enough to kill them in one hit, with a decent Power Strength.
When all of them have low HP, wait for a good opportunity to use the Flame Shield and damage them when they are closer to each other. It is going to be a long battle, just be patient, and try to learn their pattern of movement. To perform better you should have a good HP/Shield pool, so you don’t have to be afraid of taking damage.

Endless Run Achievements
Those Achievements are related with how far you can go on an Endless Run.

Extended
Clear Level 16 in Endless Mode.

Everlasting
Clear Level 25 in Endless Mode.

Eternal
Clear Level 40 in Endless Mode.

There are two ways to select the Endless skull. You can use a seed run, or you can play on Defiant mode and select the Endless Skull. The last option is the best, since you can spend your Soul Chips to make your life easier.
Luck has some influence on an endless run, specially on the beginning, but after you get some items, your power will increase faster than the difficulty.
I'm going to list some tips in topics, but this is my personal setup. Feel free to disagree and test anything you think will work with your play style.

Before the run:
Try to reshuffle the items on the HQ (See the section Hints and Tips), so you can get one of those items at the beginning:
  • Scrapmetal Scavenger
  • Seven Leaf Clover
  • Entropy Lock
This way you start with some chance to drop more resources. Alternatively, you will always get some item on the slot machine, which is also very useful.
Spend the rest in tokens. You may want to undevelop some items with the Soul Chips left, but I usually only get rid of Core Augments I don't want to pick up during the run.

Starting the run:
Go to Reverent Mode and activate the Endless Skull.
You can activate the following skulls as well:
  • Swarm
  • Marathon
This will increase the amount of enemies on the stage, also increasing the chances of item drops. I usually activate only the Swarm, because the stages tends to become very lengthy. If you want to reach the 40th stage, with Marathon on, it will take a very long time.

During the run:
After you start the run, don't spend your nut on every item you see in the shops. You must keep enough Nuts to buy some unique Augments, that don't appear twice in the run. I try to keep at least 60 spare nuts. I usually don't spend my nuts on the first three initial stages. The lists below are my personal choice. If you want to know the effect, please check the guide mentioned in the introduction, because it will take too much space to describe all of them.

Most Wanted Items:
  • Entropy Lock
  • Splintering Twinifier
  • Kinetic Resonator
  • Force Resonator
  • Vendsmasher
  • Fortune Stabiliser
  • Hoarder's Might
Desirable Items:
  • Patchwork Online
  • Charging Magnet
  • Cranial Resonator
  • Case Resonator
  • Quantum Spook
  • The Volunteer
  • Thrillseeker
Worth to spend you nuts early:
  • Scrapmetal Scavenger
  • Seven Leaf Clover
  • Nut Replicator
After some time, when you have enough nut drop bonus, you will be able to buy everything in the shops, without running out of nuts. Repros and their Augments are my preferred choices.

Prototype Augments:
Here is a list of the Prototypes I definitely pick up in a run.
  • Hysteria
  • Defiant Decree
  • Patchwork Integrator
  • Contractor Beta
  • Consuming Fury
Prototyes appears more than once in a run if you don't pick them up in the first opportunity. You may skip some of them and choose to pick them up in a later opportunity.

Hint: Pick up Hysteria. Double items. You take more damage, but it is totally worth it.

Weapons:
Again, personal choice. My favorites:
  • Nina: Forkalator
  • Ace: Spinning Glaive
I don't own the DLC, so I can't really recommend the weapons for Hawk and Draco.

Core Augments:
My personal choices, but they are very effective:

Preferred Core Set:
Armatort Set (the yellow one)
  • Head: Every HP pick up has a chance to give you some armor.
  • Arm: Charged shots erases enemies projectiles (best for Nina)
  • Body: Prevents knockback
  • Legs: Hover for 2 seconds
The set bonus is the invulnerability to static environment hazards. Lasers, spikes, lava will not harm you anymore.

With Patchwork Connector:
This Augment allows you to have the set bonus with only three pieces of the same set. As soon as I find this Augment, I try to replace the leg Core. My two preferred choices:
  • Dracopent's Bound (purple, gives double jump)
  • Owlhawk's Feather (green, 1 sec fly)
I tend to keep the Dracopent's Double Jump, because the mobility is awesome, and you have much more control. If you dash-jump, you keep your speed. Combine it with the Kinetic Resonator, and you will have triple jump. You can skip large chunks of the stage with this.

With Patchwork Integrator:
This Prototype takes away 40% of your attack power, but you can receive a set bonus with only two pieces of the set, meaning that you can have two set bonuses at once. My choice:
  • Head: Armatort (yellow)
  • Arm: Armatort (yellow)
  • Body: Dracopent (Purple)
  • Legs: Dracopent (Purple)
As a short comment, the Dracopent set bonus - Normal shots are charged - combines perfectly with Armatort's Arm Core, shot eraser. All your normal attacks will erase enemies projectiles.

Powers:
All powers have great usefulness, if you know how to use them. Eventually I like to collect them all. The ones I wouldn't miss in the first opportunity:
  • Flameshield (Protects against projectiles, specially the ice missiles in the Frostor Zone)
  • Force Nova (erase shots, disable lasers)
  • Quint Laser (drestroy vending machines)
  • Splinterfrost (freezes fire cannons)

Final notes for Endless:
As I mentioned before, I'm sharing the strategies that works for me. If you have anything to add, or correct, lease let me know. I may add to my guide to improve it.
Speed Run Achievements
Here you have a set amount of time to finish the run.

Thunder Follows
Complete the game within 28 minutes.

Runner
Complete a Marathon run within 35 minutes.

I'm not going to be too extensive here, since there is already a very useful guide for those achevements:
https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1206868811
This guide mentions the Thunder Follows achievement, but you can use the hints to get Runner as well.

Anyway, here are some general tips. I'm not giving too much details, because the Guide above covers pretty much everything:
  • Activate the timer in the options menu.
  • Playing Endless first, you can collect much more Soul Chips to spend.
  • Don't waste time killing every single enemy.
  • Try to pick up some movement items early.
  • If you want to deviate from your normal path, do it on the early stages. They are shorter.
  • Try to pick up the Double Jump (purple boots) from glory zones. After that, you don't need to enter them again (Unless you have spare time).
  • Take shortcuts whenever you can.
  • When you dash and jump, you keep your dash speed in the air
  • Boltdash gives a nice boost to your dash-jump speed.
  • Pausing the game will pause the timer. Use that to make your choices on shops or stage selection.

In the following videos I'm showing one of my recorded runs for each achievement. I've done it after an Endless run, and I've undeveloped the items I didn't wanted (basically all Core pieces, with the exption of the yellow set and the purple boots). The rest of the tokens I've spent on coins for Slot Machines.

Videos:
  • Thunder Follows

  • Runner
Skulls / Handicap Achievements (part 1)
The following achievements are related to skulls or some restriction while playing. Some are easier than it seems, but some are really hard, and will require more than average skills to beat them.

Untouchable
Complete the game having taken damage ten or fewer times.

As you may guess, the key here is to be careful. You don't need to rush, time is not a problem here. Use the right stick to look forward, and prepare yourself for the incoming danger. Learn the boss pattern, and learn how to use your powers well, not only to kill enemies, but to avoid damage from the environment. Also, everything that prevents damage is good. Here are some useful items:
  • Armatort's Pound: Erase enemies shots with charged attacks
  • Armatort Set: Prevents damage from environment hazards
  • Force Nova: Erase shots close to you and disable laser barriers.
  • Flame Shield: Blocks shots from enemies and protects against Ice Shards without dissipating.
  • Splinterfrost: Freezes flame turrets.
  • Unflappable: Flaps don't damage you anymore.

Ancestor Worship
Complete the game with Rock and Purist active.

You can't have access to Core Augments and you will be killed by hazards like spikes, bottomless pits, lava, acid, and lasers. Armatort's set cannot help you this time. You need to be extra careful here, but focused on those obstacles. If you hit an enemy and, while your invulnerability frames are still active, you touch a spike, you will not die. Use that to your advantage, specially on small corridors with spikes in Frostor and Agnisoft.
Some useful items here:
  • Force Nova: Disabling lasers is even more important this time.
  • Vera: You can use it to fly over some obstacles, specially on Frostor stage, where you have some limited space, and lots of spikes around. You can avoid completely those areas.
  • Gapminder: This Repro will let you fall into a bottomless pit and not die.
  • Mistimed Protector: Extend your invulnerability frames. Take advantage of your enemies.
In my opinion, this achievement is easier than the previous, but you still need to be careful.

Brittle Battle
Complete the game with Wrath, Famine, Marathon, and Toxin active.

Longer stages, tougher enemies, and a limited time. Also no HP pickup. After the timer, you will lose HP from time to time. It stops when you reach the boss gate.

You can still recover HP:
  • Dracopent's Pride: Purple Body Core. Sometimes recover HP with attack kills
  • Owlhawk's Reign: Green Body Core. Sometimes recover HP with power kills
I would recommend the complete Owlhawk Set. It will help you immensely recovering HP without depleting your energy.

Also there are no HP pick-ups, but you still can find Armor. The following items may help you:
  • Nut to Armor Conversion Up
  • Nut Find Up
  • Armor Boost Up
Your armor pool will quickly increase with this combination. But it is not very common to find all of them in a normal run.

Journey
Complete the game with Marathon, Famine, and Bankrupt active.

Marathon is not a big deal, the stages are longer.
Bankrup will prevent you from getting items from shops, but the slot machines still works. To help your luck a little bit, you can try this achievement after you get a good endless run. Bring as many tokens as you can, and when you find a slot machine, you can try your luck.
Famine can be dealt with the strategies from the previous achievement - armor boost and recovering HP with Owlhawk Set.

Perfect Storm
With the High Tide Skull on, complete the game without picking up any maximum health upgrades.

Stages starts with level 5 difficulty. This is quite hard at the beginning, but the hard part is to survive the first few levels, because you don't have upgrades.
You cannot raise you HP, so avoid those upgrades. I recommend to undevelop them, but it is not entirely necessary.
I used Armatort Head Core, to transform HP pick-ups into Shield. Also, if you can find any armor related upgrades, pick them up.

Goliath
With the Undying Skull on, complete the game without picking up any damage upgrades.

Not really hard, but you must learn enemies patterns, specially bosses. And have a lot of patience, because later bosses will take much longer to be beaten.
Avoid any item that gives you any kind of Attack/Power bonus. The list is very long, I would recommend to undevelop them, or most of them, so you have better chances to find useful items:
  • Strongarm Band
  • Band of Might
  • Bracer of Battle
  • Reclaimed Spark
  • Power Enhancer
  • Thunderous Boon
  • Contractor Plus
  • Contractor Omega
  • Forcemetal Shell
  • XCALBER
  • Striking Feather
  • Glass Cannon
  • Energy Scavenger
  • Forgotten Memento
  • Pure Flame
  • Mixmatch Mastery
  • Thorned Hull
  • Juiced Reserves
  • Spicy Incense
  • Vibrofocus
  • Intensifier
  • Hoarder's Might
  • Crisis Overdrive
  • All the Arm Cores. That's right, you cannot have a complete set. But you can still receive the set bonus if you find the Patchwork Connector or the Patchwork Integrator.
The following one decreases your Attack/Power. I'm not sure if they count, but avoid them. Also, you don't want to be extremely weak in this run.
  • Kinetic Converter
  • Utilifier
Again, I don't know if Repro multipliers affect this achievement, but I would skip them, just to be sure:
  • Zookeeper's Sigil
And finally, Prototype Augments. Many of them raises/lower stats. You cannot undevelop them, so you must just skip the following:
  • Brutish Augmentation
  • Consuming Fury
  • Earthmetal Plating
  • Focusing Sagelens
  • Interesting Times
  • Sanity Converter
  • Uncharging Force
  • Violence Enhancer
  • Contractor Beta
Skulls / Handicap Achievements (part 2)
Fervor
Complete the game with Wrath, Undying, Furor, and Swarm active.

There will be more enemies, harder to kill, more aggresisive, and deals more damage.
I suggest to prioritize damage upgrades and HP/armor to survive. It is a good idea to bring lots of tokens and try to get items from the slot machines, to help you get some upgrades. Skill is essential, but you may also need some luck to find good items in this run.

Might
Complete the game with High Tide, Marathon, Wrath, Undying, and Destiny active.

The difficulty here is a bit harder than the previous achievement. Basically, I would give the same hints as before.

Nut Zero
Without Bankrupt active, complete the game without picking up any nuts or nut-granting Augs.

My suggestion here is to complete this achievement with Final Destination active. With this skull active, no items appears on the stage, also no nuts. This way, you avoid any nut to appear without activating Bankrupt. Completing a run with this skull will also trigger the Fox Only Achievement (see below).

Fox Only
Complete the game with Final Destination active.

No items spawn. Enemies keep becoming stronger, while you are locked at the initial stats. This is very very tough. To make things better, at least, after each boss you can take his power AND choose between the HP or Energy bonus. I usually choose HP, but if you are good at avoiding damage, balance is a good idea.

There are two ways you can do that.

1 - Use the seed generated run. Using seeds, you can play the same pattern over and over. The exact same layout for the stages, same enemies, same drops, everything. This way, you can memorize the dangers around you, and plan accordingly. If you find a complicated layout, where it is very hard to progress without losing HP, you can try other combinations on stage selection. Or even change the seed, to find a better one.

2 - You can play on Defiant Mode. The items you purchase in the HQ will not be lost if you start the run on this mode. You can shuffle the items in the HQ until you find a good set and start your run. Be aware that randomness will be against you. You have to progress slowly, taking care of enemies, and you may reach a situation that you cannot go further without loosing HP.

I particularly used the second method, and could finish the game when I picked the Re-Flapp Repro. Every time I reached the final boss, I had very low HP. When I beated him up a little, and he changed sides, I had a really hard time following him. I ended being killed before I could deplete more than half of his HP. The big advantage of the Re-Flapp is that it doesn't trigger the boss reaction. At this time, I just stand still at his side, without damaging him directly, letting the Repro do the job.

Bold
Clear level 1 with Bankrupt, Famine, Furor, High Tide, Marathon, Purist, Rock, Swarm, Toxin, Undying, and Wrath active.

Probably Cheating
Clear level 3 with Bankrupt, Famine, Furor, High Tide, Marathon, Purist, Rock, Swarm, Toxin, Undying, and Wrath active.

I will talk about those two achievements together. Almost all the skulls active. This is really a nightmare. If you can survive one entire stage, you will earn the first achievement, if you manage to survive three, you get the second.

Again, one strategy is to use a seed generated stage, and repeat it over and over, until you can memorize the layout pattern, enemies that spawns and item locations.

Alternatively, you can buy some upgrades from the HQ, to help you. The good news is that your tokens MAY have some usefulness here. It depends on when a slot machine will appear.
If you manage to get the item Fortune Stabilisher in the HQ, you will find the slot machine in the very first stage. You still have to get past the entire stage, that will be very very difficulty. But if you reach the slot machine, it may help you. As always, you still need some luck to get this one.
Hints & Tips
Here I will put some hints that may help you on the achievements. I may expand this section later, if necessary.

Shuffling items on the HQ:

If you don't like the items that appears on the HQ for your next run, you can reshuffle them by entering one of the challenge runs at the top right section of the HQ.

Note that you don't need to finish the run. You may just enter and quit back to the HQ again, and the items will be refreshed.

Backup your game

Lets say you finished a very good endless run, and earned lots of Soul Chips. You can return to the HQ and backup your save before starting another run.
This way, if you didn't succeed, and don't want to go through another endless run to get Soul Chips again, you can use that backup to recover them.

Close the game and go to this folder:
C:\Users\[username]\Documents\20XX

Copy the content to a backup folder. When you want to recover it, close the game, delete the content of the folder and put the backup files there.

I recommend to do that only after you've puchased everything on the Soul Shop, because the game will be restored to the state you've saved. If you have purchased anything after that backup and recover it, you will lose those items.

Undevelopper

After you purchased everything on the Soul Shop, you will be able to undevelop some augments for the next run. They will no longer appear until you fiish that run.

This may sound weird, but sometimes, cleaning unwanted upgrades will drastically increase the chances of getting items you desire.

The special case is the Core Upgrades. It is incredibly easy to force a complete set to appear in your run, by undeveloping every piece of the sets you don't want, or at least the great majority of them.

Secret Characters

There are two secret characters in the game, named Vika nad Jest. They are Revenants, alternative versions of Nina and Ace.

To unlock them, you must finish a run with at least three skulls selected. If you are pursuing the achievements, you will unlock them naturally.

I used the following skulls:
  • Marathon
  • Swarm
  • Destiny
When you return to the HQ, you will see that Ace and Nina Pods have a smoke above it. To select VIka or Jest, go to one Pod, hold the UP direction, and press the confirm button.

They have less HP, and cannot equip Core Augments or alternative weapons. It is a good test for your skills.
Thanks
Thank you for reading my guide. I just wanted to share the information I've collected to help others with those achievements.

If you find any wrong information, or have a better strategy for some achievement, you may leave a comment here. I may add it to the guide in the future.

I hope you enjoy the game as much as I do. Have fun.

Thanks for your contribution. I was playing safe and avoiding any kind of power multiplier. But if the information in the link below is reliable, anyone is free to try, since it will not be so restrictive in this run.

Hey, for that maybe one other person than me that still plays 20XX, doesn't have the Goliath achievement, and also wants the Goliath achievement, I found a post from the devs (2017 tbf) concerning which items are prohibited:

https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/app/322110/discussions/0/1474221865184527000/

This is less restrictive than the current list on this guide, and I can attest that at least Intensifier does not prohibit you from getting the achievement, so until someone proves otherwise (most profound condolences to whoever that ends up being), I'd say it's a safe enough bet to assume that items not on BSG's list are okay to take for Goliath runs.

Thanks for your guide! This is incredibly helpful!

I just got the achievement "Provoke" while having two attacking repros by my side.
It seems to be okay to have some support.

That's nice to know. It certainly makes things easier.

I just got the Perforator achievement yesterday, and I can confirm that taking armor damage rather than health damage doesn't count against you.

Allow me to point out a typo: "very very difficulty". It should be just "very, very difficult."

Confirmed that Hard Hat Zone absolutely can be done even after accidentally knocking them out with a weapon, several times.
