IMPORTANT NOTICE: The mod may require you to have Waking the Tiger, Together for Victory and Death or Dishonour DLC to play it properly. If a feature that appears in those DLC is used in the mod it may not work for you. You're welcome to try though!

Welcome to Dark Buddhist community mod. This mod tells a story where you, the player, are the main character!
Long, expanded narrative will keep you engaged across 7 different storylines with over 400 events!

NEW IDEOLOGY

Tired of edgy communists and fascists, but neutrals and democrats are boring? Try a NEW path! Friendshipism is an all new ideology represented with its own focus path and mechanics!

FOCUS ON STORY

The mod is written with heavy use of storytelling and roleplaying. It is far from balanced - it is just fun! Over 400 events are full of lore and plot to discover!

THIS MOD IS CURRENTLY IN BETA!

This means that it is probably full of bugs. If you find any, please post them in Technical down below!
Be sure to include a screenshot of the issue, what version of the game you have, what other mods are running and what DLC do you have on.

The mod is currently in version 0.8. As a Beta version, it is feature complete, and only two things separate us from full release:
1. Democratic paths. We have plans for it! However, Man the Guns, the next Expansion for Hearts of Iron 4, will bring with it features that we consider crucial to the democratic branches of the mod. As such, we have postponed this until Man the Guns comes out.
2. Lack of art. As you see, the mod does have some custom art, portraits, focus icons, event pictures. However, with over 400 events and about 100 focuses we simply do not have resources to create all the art by ourselves. Or at least it will take a very long time. If you would like to volunteer and help us out with the pictures for the mod, please let us know!
