Weapon wielding enemies aren't skilled Martial Artists anymore.
In multiple boss enhancing mods, cutting someone's arm often leads to him becoming a better fighter : switching from his weapon to his deadly arms and feet.
Not anymore.

Training Weapon skills takes time, the same goes for Martial Arts (and even more time in Kenshi).
So assuming each NPC trained both skills to the same level, just because they can use a sword, doesn't seem logical to me.


Enemies carrying weapons have had their Martial Arts skill divided by 3.
This way, they won't switch from doing 70 weapon damage with their limbs intact, to 150 fist / foot damage when they get an arm cut off.

Example : a High Paladin's "unarmed stats" went from 95 to 32.
(His weapon skills remain untouched)

Finally enjoy cutting people's limbs, without them turning into Bruce Lee's doppelgangers.

I know I posted this before, saying this actually BUFFS most npcs unarmed stats now, which is all good and well but given the proliferation of this in even new popular collection it should be stressed that this also will significantly NERF the dexterity stat of a lot of npcs. It's basically outright broken.

Still planning on using this mod but for the opposite reason now, base game has most people at 0 martial art skill but realistically every warrior would learn at least some basic hand to hand combat techniques if unarmed.

I guess this mod is obsolete these days. Used to use it a lot. I do wish something like this existed for the field medic skill. When one uses recruit prisoner, they quickly learn that most of the world is more advanced in the art of medical science than Dr. Chung or the young prodigy Izumi.
