1. The hitting sound is just too late, so I also muted it to avoid disturbance.
2. A too large sensitivity value (no matter positive or negative) may lead to instable judgement, so I tried to set the sensitivity to 0 and adjusted only the music offset to stand on the safe side.
3. Some songs from tutorial (especially songs on the early planets, like Garden of Eden, 野史, etc.) need less offset. I usually set sensitivity with a value of +5 or +6 ms to apply a quick fix.
4. Just a guess. The out-of-sync might mostly due to the delay of DirectSound, since I found the delay reported by Sibelius (a music composition software) very close to my settings.
now i dont seem to drop hold bars anymore :)
