I have a friend who owns a K98 built during the war in Brno, a Czech city occupied by the Germans.
He also has a Tsarist era Mosin Nagant. That model is really long and has a huge bayonet. Apparently, soldiers were supposed to use it as a pike in the event of a cavalry charge. That model was built before the Soviets took power and adopted the Metric system, so it is pretty much impossible to dial-in the sights (unless you are familiar with antiquated units of measurement used exclusively by Imperial Russia).
I don't personally own a K98. I do have a Mosin Nagant M44 Carbine that was built in Izhevsk in 1944. I bought it for $75.
