There's four files.
mom_face_base — êîïèÿ
mom_face_base edited
mom_face_base (Valve Material File)
mom_face_base (Valve Texture File)

Which one should I rename and which one should I delete?

Look in materials folder another copy of mom_face_base.vtf (face texture), name it mom_face_base and pack it back.
