Put some muscle into those machines!

A companion addon to my Half-Life 2 Weapon Buff, this addon doubles all damage done by Floor Turrets, Ceiling Turrets, Striders, Helicopters, Gunships, and Hunters, bringing their damage to about the effectiveness of the buffed weapons of their soldier counterparts. This value can be adjusted with the convar npcbuff_amnt, similarly to the Weapon Buff.

Does anyone know of any other addons that are similar to this one, except you can be selective of which npcs receive the buff or not? Trying to buff striders back into their HL2 counterpart, but I really don't want to deal with turrets that do 15 dmg per bullet.

A must-have imo. Without it many of the original HL2 NPCs and such just don't feel challenging to fight against in-game. I also utilize ai-enhancement addons, because I value NPC encounters as something that should be different nearly every single time. Amazing addon, keep it up! :steamthumbsup:

This mod is just lore accurate combine synths.

This doesn't affect combine soldiers. A lot of SWEPs can one-shot them in the head by default.
