- Path of the Ninja is the only path that has Focus time-freeze, Sword and a Distraction item
- Path of Silence cannot be used to distract guards via footsteps due to muffle effect
- Path of Might sucks even more on Plus difficulty due to all damage being lethal
- Path of Nightmares makes it almost sure to get the "no alarm" bonus as well as tons of points
- Non-lethal takedown (Path of Wisdom) lets you benefit from bonuses like "Body Hidden" and "Disabled" while still giving you the full "left alive" guard bonus at the end (400 points), so is probably the strongest method to deal with guards in terms of score accumulation
- The six base game paths get: Distraction items: 1 Cardboard box / 2 Dusk Moth / 3 Smoke Bomb or Distraction Flare / 4 Noise Maker; Attack items: 2 Spike Mine or Hisomu Terror Dart or Ravenous Insects or Fungal Spores / 3 Caltrops; Path of Wisdom gets twice this quantity; make sure you pick the Caltrops
