It seems like the stations are completely random and that there is no way to be sure when they will appear or what they will offer for trading.

Technically, I think the trade deals you can make are supposed to provide that already. Different factions offer a boost in resources, such as 600ore/week for 6 weeks, for 200,000 credits, or my favorite, 10,000,000 credits for 4,000 materials.

You just have to check the page where it shows your standing with each faction, talk with the leader, and offer to make a deal. Sadly, you do have to talk with each faction to find out, and the offers change sometimes, so I do wish there was just a list. Same for the map deals also.

As far as I understand modding civilian tasks means overwriting the existing scripts
(at least I have not found a way to add modules to the base script without changing it).

In short should another mods override the same files it might come to issues.

Currently this mod overwrites GenerateTradeTask.sal and OnEndTradeTask.sal

As long as the other mods do not touch these files it should work.

I sadly have not found a way around that problem, so if anyone knows of a way and can tell me I'm more than willing to update the mod.

will this work with other mods that mod the civilian fleet?

friend said the same -.- for me it was the exact opposite, though i conquered a good junk of the map before starting story quest ^^
