The MARDEF, the army or mars, has just signed it peace contract with The Union, and not even 2 week after, it came to new firefigths near the Asteroid Belt Federation.

MARDEF and Jupiter both tasked the HDF to enforce peacekeeping in the region, but they have failed before they even started.

Earth has falled 3 years ago, after the devestating war with mars, which led to the failure of the 31th Fleet and the destruction and fall of Mars' moon, Deimos. Earth is in a state of civil war, with the seperatists and allies of mars figthing against the still unbroken resistance of the loyalists.


The Union of the Sirius System, of better known as "Horizon", has kept themselfs out of the wars in Sol for a very long time. The home fleet was never deployed, only the flagship, the Jade-Class Battleship "Astral Hammer", and its escort fleet.
Years of propaganda made the Sirian people think the HDF did great in Sol, when they where just covering up theire horrific losses due to bad equipment.

Terran Propaganda made the people of Earth think Mars is a war hungery, never-stopping slaugtherhouse.

Jupiters Propaganda made its people think that theire nation is truly the greatest, and non shall ever reach its size.

Martrian propaganda made people want war.
