Fortress MF-1 "Salamandar"

The Fortress MF-1 (Mobile Fortress Mk I) "Salamander" is the first mobile fortress added to the Fortress class. The Salamander is equipped with extremely powerful sheilds, capable of withstanding heavy fire and not taking any damage. Once those sheilds finally collapse, the Salamander can still withstand and recieve massive amounts of damage and still continue firing. At first glance, the Salamander appears to be lightly armed, however this is not the case. The Salamander is carrying a Scout Tank, and is equipped with three missile bays, as well as two cruise missile launchers. The missiles are covered with armor plates to protect them while the base is being deployed. Once the desired position is reached, and the fortress is anchored, press x to blast off the armor covers over the missile bays. This will also release the Scout Tank, which can be deployed through the back ramp. The ramp has a hover plate on it which must be removed in order to pull the scout out of the fortress. The Scout can also be reloaded into the back with the build beam. Close the door by replacing the hover plate and putting an explosive bolt in front/on either side of it. Once deployed, the Salamander will behave like a turret and can easily handle any enemy that approaches it.
