描述
This mod allows you to create customized color sets for building, which can then be easily imported into another world.

🛠︰Color Sets ・────────・・・
To save or load a color set you have to type the listed commands below in your chat box.

Usage: /bc [command] [arguments]

Available commands:
Command
Arguments
Description
save
name
Saves a Color Set with the given name.
load
name
Loads a Color Set with the given name.
remove
name
Removes a Color Set with given name.
generate
generates a random color set. It is not saved, only the color palette is changed
list
Lists all available color sets.
help
Shows a help window with all commands

🛠︰Configs ・──────────・・・
This mod can create two config files.
[OLD can be removed] For servers a settings.xml file is created in your world storage.
Color sets are saved in ColorSets.xml in your global storage:
"%appdata%\SpaceEngineers\Storage\ColorSets.xml"

🛠︰Known issues ・──────・・・
The UI has a problem when naming a color set. Pressing keys bound to game actions triggers those actions instead. For example, pressing 'P' closes the Color-picker Screen. While it's a bit annoying, pressing 'P' again allows you to continue. Unfortunately, I don't know how to fix this issue.

@Dying Dark Star thanks for the detailed answer.

These sound like worthwhile additions. I usually try to avoid features where someone else already has a mod for, but I think this fits quite well.

I'll have to think about how I can implement these features.
It will take some time, but maybe I'll feel like it during the upcoming holidays.

(part 3)
>Three, I'd add the functionality of targeting certain blocks for example: you be able to make all the conveyors on the grid be orange with the battered skin and windows have the retrofuture skin or just make the all conveyors on the grid be orange with no skin change.

>Five, I'd add the functionality of being able to replace more then just one color and or skin for example: a grid is black with the scifi skin, red with the carbon fibre skin and yellow with the Retrofuture skin, then you'll be able to change the black, to white with the clean skin, red to blue with the weldless skin and yellow to orange with the glamour skin.

So if the functionality can be put in or not (or maybe made into a separate mod if it doesnt fit this one?) at least thanks for hearing me out.

(part 2) "How or what should be improved?" I personly think you can improve apon it with:
>One it not needing a block to be placed on the grid to change the colors & skins.
>Two, in the mod it has the functionality of randomly placing of skins and colors but it does that at the same time but theres no way to just apply just random skins and not replace the color and the reverse.

(part 1) @🅂🄸🅂🄺 it seems like the mod is not being supported any more, last time it was updated was 2023 and Meridius_IX / Lucas hasnt made anything for SE since 2023 and hasn't shown any activity for SE since than too.

"What's missing when using both mods?" Id say the ease of use. you having to place down the block to use its functions feels too rigid imo, also the "Color Replacer Blocks" mod you have to go thru muliple screens (the color picker screen and the terminal) to use while with this mod you just have to go thru one (just the color picker screen).

@Katarina I know that, but I've never used the mod myself, so I'd be interested to know what could be improved or what's missing when using both mods from a user's perspective.

the mentioned block basically allows you to replace existing colors or skins with another color / skin making it very easy to replace colors without having to repaint the whole grid.

Hi is it possable to add the funculty of the "Color Replacer Blocks" mod into this mod? it would really great if it is.

@StarCpt, <3 thank you for fixing it for me.
I did not know it was in the Pluginhub that early.

I submitted it with the dependency, but in my memory my mod was removed because of that by avaness

To be honest my mod works fine without the dependency. Sure the UI is not working but the console command work fine without.

Rich HUD Master has been on the PluginHub since nov 2023, but Build Colors did not work unless Rich HUD Master was manually added due to an issue with the xml. This should now be fixed fyi.
