Beskrivning
Todai-ji is a large Buddhist temple located in the Japanese city of Nara. It is most famous for the Giant Buddha Hall, which houses the Daibutsu, the largest Bronze statue in the world. First built during the 7th century, when Nara was the capital of Japan, the complex is now the headquarters of a Japanese buddhist sect known as the Kegon school. Throughout Todai-ji and Nara as a whole, wild Sika deer can often be seen wandering freely, as these animals are sacred in Japanese religion as they are believed to be the messengers of the gods. Ingame, Todai-ji provides +1 faith for every animal resource worked by the city, and requires Metal Casting.

Requires the Gods & Kings expansion pack, and credit to co-authors Sukritact for the icon and Chris Sifniotis for the civilopedia. Splash screen is made from my own photo.

Here is how you guys can buff it yourselves : install the mod, then open the XML with notepad and edit the value. So simple!

I'll update the ones that'll use new features, but beyond that they should work fine as they are now with BNW

i gotta agree. unless every tile around the city is cattle i woudnt invest in a wonder unless it gives +2 faith per pasture. compare with the overpowered pyramids

I agree with Synulia. Todai-ji is in Deerville a.k.a. Nara, so the bonus is great, it just needs to be changed to +2 faith.

I've been so looking forward to this one. I don't think the concept behind the bonus could be any better, however, I do think it could be buffed a little. Perhaps +2 or +3 faith would be a bit more powerful, or make the +1 bonus apply to all animal resources rather than just in the city where the wonder is built.
