Arx Libertatis
Arx Libertatis is a open-source port that makes Arx Fatalis compatible with most modern operating systems and hardware. Your game experience may be spoiled by lots of unpleasant bugs and visual issues without it, since vanilla game has poor performance on today's computers.

  • Download Arx Libertatis. [wiki.arx-libertatis.org] Don't forget to choose the correct operation system.
  • Follow the installer's instructions. You can choose any directory you like for installing Arx Libertatis. Installer will copy all game data in the new folder and create shortcut for the new executable file. In order to play directly through Steam, just use the default Steam Arx Fatalis folder when you are installing Arx Libertatis.
  • Once you've done, just launch the game from the shortcut, folder or Steam.

    no malware or hacking stuff injected

    My Firefox also detects a malware on the windows installer of Libertatis. However, scanning it with windows defender doesn't reveal any malware. Also the signature seems to match, or at least it matches with the one provided on the site. No idea what firefox detects on the file

    My Firefox didn't find anything with it, scanned with MalwareBytes just in case, came up clean. Seems to be a personal issue for the guy commenting before me.

    Firefox reports the windows installer as containing maleware. The file I downloaded doesn't match the advertized MD5 sum and has a bad signature.
