The classic Soviet HMG, developed for anti-aircraft purposes, also mounted on some armored cars and light tanks as main armament. After WWII, it was modernized and also mounted as an AA gun on various armored vehicles. In Russian service it was almost completely replaced by NSV and Kord, so its appearance in Modern Warfare is as justified as the AK-47.


The model had a remarkably hideous hexagonal barrel and lacked a front sight post. Since I had to separate materials to make the barrel glow, I also smoothed it a bit. The gun itself is rather hastily attached to the default L4D2 tripod. I tried adjusting hand positions, but even the default ones are glitchy.
