In order to gain entry into the Brotherhood of Steel bunker, they'll send you on a quest to a place called The Glow. As expected, the place is irradiated and will kill the unprepared.

01. Equipment (0:32) - Rope and two Rad-X

• You'll need Rad-X if you hope to survive The Glow. You can buy some Rad-X from Vance in The Hub's Old Town. You get to know him by a decent speech skill or asking the neighboring weapons dealer about radiation. You can also find some in a cooler in the Follower's library in Boneyard. There is also some Rad-X in Vault 12 underneath Necropolis in a locker on the second level.
  
• To climb into the crater, you'll need a rope to attach to the broken girder hanging over the pit. There's at least 3 you can obtain in Shady Sands, as covered here.

02. The Glow Crater (1:40)
It's advised to stop on the map right before entering the crater, and popping 2 Rad-X. Doing so will make you immune to the radiation here. After entering, you can attach the rope to the broken girder hanging over the pit.

03. Level 1 (02:20)
Simply recovering the holodisk from the corpse on the first floor will complete your quest for the Brotherhood. You can explore further for some useful loot at the bottom floor, or head back to the bunker.

04. Level 2 (03:03)
The first 3 floors all have a corpse that contains a keycard that corresponds to the elevators, and must be used on them for access.

05. Level 3 (03:47)
You can fight and steal from most of the robots while they're deactivated for free experience and weapons; this'll vie you an easier time of leaving once the power is restored.

06. Level 4 (04:01)
This is where the Mainframe is located, and will shed a little more light on the facility.

07. Level 6 (04:11)
The generator can be repaired, then the power restored via ZAX (Level 4) to prevent the robot defenses from coming online.

08. Level 5 (04:47)
This's where all the sweet loot is! (I usually just copy over my scripts for the video guides, but I really winged the commentary this time.)
