Long description
This mod fixes the unrealistic vanilla citizen walking speed that bothered me from day one.
In order to find more realistic values I took this:

and translated it into game values.

If you have more realistic values for me, I'd be glad to take your input and adjust my mod appropriately.

Walk animation speed
In order to make it look even better Ronyx69 pushed me to also adjust the walk animation speed.
He helped out with fine tuning the animation factor.

All good and well but ... still too fast
That depends on what you relate it to.
The mod adjusts the speed such that they are correct in relation to all other vehicle speeds (tractors and crazy wheelchairs aside).
A medium age cim walking around the city should have roughly 1/8 the speed of a bus driving on a basic road that has a tempo limit of 40. The thing is that the simulation speed itself varies and is at game speed 1 faster on most gaming rigs than real time but tends to get much slower in larger cities.
To slow the game down you can use mods like https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=406354745 and bring it inline with real world time.

Issues
Multiple uses have reported that movement speed has a significant impact on the boarding times at train and metro stations, especially for longer trains. I am aware of the issue. This is not a bug though, but just the way the game handles boarding. Maybe I will make a separate mod to change that, but don't expect it anytime soon.

In YOUR game. You said "IT NEEDS AN UPDATE" as if you had empirical evidence. Which you do not. Because you cannot. Because it does not.

The reason I called it spam is because, just like you're doing again today, you had copy pasted a bunch of spammy, unhelpful, and often erroneous comments across a number of mods. My encouragement to you is to not do that. It's also worth noting that, five months later, you still have not corrected your misleading comment.

@Patriotparadox Let’s clear this up. I appreciate you’re trying to defend a good mod, but accusing me of spreading "misinformation" was inaccurate and unfair.

When I posted, the mod wasn't behaving as expected in my game. I suspected a potential conflict—a common issue for anyone running a lot of mods. My intention was to flag that, because in the modding world, an old update date can sometimes be the cause. That's why I advised caution.

I never said "it's broken." I said "try it for yourself," because I know everyone's setup is different. Encouraging people to test a mod before committing is responsible advice, not misinformation. We were probably both trying to help, but there’s no need to label helpful caution as "spam."

And to reiterate, it's a wonderful mod, egi! My comments were about ensuring stable gameplay for everyone.

FYI Cities Skylines Community, Remember to ALWAYS put in the comments ( help and let people know ) of your favorite mods to say it still works, and make sure to push for updates from the creators!
