Iron Labyrinth Systems Megalodon Dreadnought Mk.2


Iron Labyrinth Systems’ biggest, baddest, and strongest ship is the Megalodon dreadnought. This ship is a heavily armoured and armed capital ship. It has earned it's name from the ancient, Megalodon shark. This shark was the biggest, and baddest predator out in sea. This dreadnought is supposed to reflect that. This dreadnought is made according to the old-school all-big-gun principle. This means it only uses 3 different calibres of guns. These are: 20mm, 300mm, 900mm. The ship is loaded wit AA-barrages to fend off incoming fighters and incoming missiles. The 300mm’s are for both small-grid and large grid targeting. The 900mm’s only focus on large grid hostiles.

To support the megalodon, she is outfitted with decoy systems in her flat-wing-deck. 8x small caliber decoy-missiles. These small decoy missiles follow the nose of the ship, and are outfitted with decoys to distract fire from the ship, or to harras bases. She's also outfitted with 32 cruise-missile tubes that are lidar-lock by the designator ontop.

The megalodon is a 170 block long ship. She is 30 blocks high, and 61 blocks wide. Meaning she is
425m long, 75m high and 152m wide. With a weight of 93.764.000Kg when empty. Her armour consist of 1 to 3 layers of heavy armour, with light armour cushioning. The outer shell is 80% self-repairing.

READ ME #1

This ship features 3 main weapon systems. The point defence turret system,
decoy missiles, and cruise missiles.

DECOY SYSTEM (Toolbar 3)
1: Turn on/off decoys
2: welders.

CRUISE MISSILES:
Should always be fired from a standstill. Lock-on range is 3kms

Fire procedure: (Toolbar 8)
1: Turn of gyroscopes
2: Unlock Azimuth
3: Unlock Elevation
4: Open Cruise missile doors
5 OR 6: Weld entire aresenal OR just 4
7: Point with camera R_Lidar
8: Use run command MODE:0 ( Fire missiles in salvos of 3 max.)
To opt out of cruise missile fire, lock the rotors.

DECOY MISSILES:
Dumb fire wire-guided missiles that are fitted with decoys to distract, and
confuse enemy targeting systems. Range = 10km. Blunt impact can be used
as small caliber missiles. They follow the nose of the ship.

1: 1 weld missiles
2: Open missile doors
3: Hit run
