Train Museum

描述
When I was reading about how the Parklife DLC would allow you to create parks and charge people for tickets, it gave me an idea. Why not create a train museum? I love trains and with the new DLC I can now charge my cims to look at trains.


This asset requires the Parklife DLC.


Plants and decals not included. If you don't like the stats, feel free to change them in the asset editor for your own use. It's a museum with trains, it should provide a lot of entertainment in a large area. The weekly maintenance cost equals out to 160/week.


An expansion to the museum with older trains will be coming in the future. You can find this asset in transportation (buses, trains, monorail, etc) -> parks.

Looks very nice ! Great work ! But as far as I can see the trains in the museum are all from America...Can you make one without any trains in it (but with the same stats) so I can place my own props from trains in it. Since I'm from the Netherlands I would love to put some Dutch trains in the museum. Thanks a lot !

I've started turning train props into park area buildings, a few of which are now on the workshop (with prop authors' permissions), but then got distracted with jets, so now I'm putting a bunch of those up on the Workshop. Might you consider creating a Train Park entrance?

@war4sure Okay, so it's a contemporary train museum. Like the description says, there will be an addition with older trains coming.


@TheWaif Weird that you cannot see it with FIndIt. If you search "train museum" or just "museum" it should show up. I guess I forgot to include in the description, but it is in the transport tab (where buses, trains, etc are) under the parks subtab I think (maybe plazas).

The mod seems to be loaded correctly, but I can't find it in-game. I have parklife, the required mods, etc. and everything else seems to be in order. It's not showing up in FindIt either. Where is it supposed to be located?

To see Amtrak Superliner and other current American locomotives and rolling stock in a museum, your city needs to be really far in the future to make this looks believable but still good work.

Looks great! Will you be making a version of this that does not require Parklife?
