No HUD for real

描述
This is similar to No HUD, except that it also disables the item pickup popup. Pretty much the closest you can get to no HUD at all if you call the console command "cl_drawhud 0". If you have cheats enabled, you can also add "hidehud 4", at which point your entire hud will be hidden and this mod will be accomplishing nothing.

I still do not know how to disable the deathnotices (killfeed) using scripts in L4D2. If anybody knows how to do that, please steam message me, as that would allow a hud configuration where the sniper scope is enabled but every other hud element is not.

Yes thank you, been looking for something like this for a long time now. Yet another thing, do you think you can make one that gets rid of the annoying pickup popup icon, or does this mod do that with the console command?

It does not disables the items outlines. In the description you said that "it also disables the item pickup popup". What are you referring?

I think you can try to move the killfeed outside the HUD

There's a sourcemod plugin for blocking the killfeed. Dunno if you can get anything useful out of that.
