Previously I only used the compatibility bits on the first "Antialiasing compatbility" but not on the one with (DX1x), as I thought it's out of use.
Yet it didn't work properly, but maybe another setting was faulty too?
Anyways, I had to downgrade 4xMSAA to 2xQ, which renders at the same performance as 2xMSAA but can look way better.
Reported downside of that technique is that it looks blurry, but I cannot recall that while playing F.E.A.R. and it appears to look better than 2xMSAA.
Playing on 4K works with 4xMSAA on my rig too, but as I want to record the game either, my machine gets on the end of its powers with that setting. So I have to stick to 2xQ.
