Are you tired of the game's default costumes? Do you want more than the bland reference? Well this guide's for you! A good place to start off the guide would be on the internet, and if you searched it properly, you might be able to find some sites with mods on them.

Once you've chosen the mod that you want, download the file by pressing the download button on the site (if they have one). Your mod should now be transferring from the site onto your computer. The most common type of file that you will see for mods is a RAR file. There are other ones like ZIP or 7Z which I will show you later. To unpack the mod, you're going to have to have a file-unpacker on standby. I recommend WinRAR for doing this. It will take a while to do so.

Once you've unpacked your mod, go into the the files and search for an ARC file. Copy that, and head into the place where you installed Steam. In the correct order, go to these places, \SteamApps\common\ULTIMATE MARVEL VS. CAPCOM 3\nativePCx64\chr\archive. Place in the ARC file (Make sure to have a backup of your files!), and you're done!

Start up UMVC3 and select the costume that your mod was meant for. and you'll view the mod! Congratulations, you installed a mod! If you want to install more, just repeat the steps i put up! I recommend getting MightyMaxT's modpacks. His first comes with 40 and his second comes with 20.
