"Is it Hot in Here?" - your pilot ignored safety instructions and destroyed their mech by overheating (received during a single player skirmish)
These two are interesting because I managed to get these two achievements during the same skirmish (maybe at the same time). Not actually sure how I got the last one since I don't think I took any overheating dmg till maybe the very end... which is also when I got the "blaze of glory" achievement while DFA'ing a commando with a badly damaged firestarter. It was the last kill and the match immediately ended so was kind of difficult to tell exactly what happened. I think the DFA did enough self damage that overheating (from the jump) finished my firestarter off. Giving me both achievements... I think...
Making a custom enemy lance with a bunch of ammo in the torsos ( center or side torso ) and very low back armor ( LRM boats maybe)
Picking a map with a lot of cover / forests and very few clear lines of sight.
Bring a lance of something like 4 Firestarters ( 2ML 6MGs ) and go for "back stabs".
