This fix is actually very simple. Just navigate to your Steam installation directory (probably C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam) and find the file called Steam.dll. Right click it, and click copy, or select it and hit Ctrl-C. Now, go to the steamapps folder and within it, the common folder and then finally the Chuzzle Deluxe folder. Right click somewhere in the folder except for a file and click paste or hit Ctrl-V. Now, launch Chuzzle Deluxe from File Explorer or Steam and you should not get this error when playing.

Some common issues when playing Chuzzle Deluxe like low framerate, blurriness, wrong aspect ratio, or freezing are repairable using the Windows compatibility options. These issues are probably from Windows 10, which Chuzzle Deluxe was not designed to run on. But Windows lets you run the program in different environments from other Windows versions to fix these issues. Navigate to the Chuzzle Deluxe installation directory (from your Steam directory, go \steamapps\common\Chuzzle Deluxe) and right click the .exe file and click properties. Open the compatibility tab and test the settings. Usually, running Chuzzle Deluxe with Windows Vista compatibility mode will solve any issues, but if not, you can try to disable fullscreen optimizations. Running the program as an administrator might fix issues caused by other installed programs. Reduced color mode is probably not helpful.
