Kota Ibushi (No DLC)

Kota Ibushi is well known for his work in Japan, including his time wrestling for DDT and NJPW. In the US, he has made appearances for ROH, competed in the WWE Cruiserweight Classic, and wrestled a few times on NXT. Ibushi combines a martial arts background with technical prowess and high-flying ability, and has been regarded as one of the best wrestlers in the world for several years.

Ibushi made his debut in 2004 for DDT, and wrestled there off and on for over a decade. In 2009, Ibushi first teamed with Kenny Omega as the Golden Lovers in DDT. As a team, the Golden Lovers have been champions in DDT and NJPW.

Ibushi is a multiple-time IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion, and has been involved in multiple big matches in NJPW, in particularly at Wrestle Kingdom events. He has battled the likes of Prince Devitt (Finn Balor), Shinsuke Nakamura, and Cody over the past several years at NJPW's signature event.

In 2016, Ibushi participated in WWE's Cruiserweight Classic, reaching the semifinals. He teamed with Hideo Itami in the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic later that year.

Ibushi returned to NJPW in October 2016 as the Tiger Mask W, based on the anime series. He defeated Tiger the Dark (ACH) at Wrestle Kingdom 11 and even faced Kazuchika Okada under the mask. He returned to his regular persona after being announced as a participant in the 2017 G1 Climax.
