IMPORTANT: This is a Dev build, it is working atm but you may experience various bugs and problems. Please report them below if you want, however I am completely revamping this mod in my free time, expanding the map working on a totally custom history based on my books etc. IF YOU WANT TO HELP with the mod please send me a message here or send me a dm over steam itself
Note: I am currently looking for someone who can help me expand the current map to the actual boundaries on my drawn maps.

Welcome! weary steam workshop user and stay a while as I tell you a story. This story takes place in a fantastical world called Gilan, one of mystery and intrigue. For centuries men and other unspeakable races war over the riches and land of this world. However evil things fester in the deep as envy's eye turns its gaze on the kingdom of men. Will this world survive the constant onslaught of evil forces, or will mankind slowly die from the cancer within itself. And who will be left to pick up the pieces? Elves? or maybe the lost Ancients themselves will come down through the whirl door gates and regain the homeland, the seat of the worlds.

Woah! Queue dramatic intro. Hi and welcome to Gilan, this is a WIP (very) mod fleshing out the story and land of my own fictional universe in all its glory. As of now there I have currently created most of the landmasses in the world of Gilan (with the help of the wonderful http://ck2generator.com/) thus as of now I have the land and the provinces as I want them for the world, however I have to complete the task of fully converting all the names of Duchies, Kingdoms, Empires, Provinces, Characters, and Religions/Cultures. (whew)

Alas this is a heinously work in progress mod, one that I don't think I will ever truly be finished with. So tuck in grab a cup of cocoa and come along for the ride.

Current Feature List:
1. A working mod which doesn't crash on load (good sign eh?)
2. A partially completed map, (I need help expanding the map to my liking)

Intended Feature List and Wish List:
1. Fully custom titles and history with a rich background fit for a king! (er get it?)
2. Traits and races to help flesh out the backstory of many of the forgotten or lost species in Gilan
3. Fully integrated quest and event chains to add a basic campaign to some key characters in the universe.
4. Some basic flavor of life events and traits to make the everyday events of a ruler less boring.
5. Expanded politics and perhaps a profession system.
6. A main quest line outlining the events of my own stories, a basic battle of good vs evil where you can choose your side.

A Note to Those Concerned:
Good sir! You might be wondering what the true meaning of this mod is? Well obviously it is a total world conversion, but what do I hope to accomplish with this? I have an answer to this question you probably weren't thinking of. Its all about the stories. In my multiple hundred hours of ck2 the parts I remember the most were the insane silly and somewhat devastating events and little stories my various rulers have encountered. The majority of this mod will not focus on grand conquest or the murder of innocents (although you can indulge in that if that't your cup of tea) rather I want to focus on immersing myself in the fantasy world that I have created over the past few years. My greatest hope is that this mod will allow you to experience and remember moments in your ruler's life with passion, to create stories that you will remember after you have turned off the game and left.
