描述
The Chernarus Outbreak is task based survival mod that uses ravage mod and a combination of other mods with tasks to complete. Players should make it a priority to find a map as some of the tasks are not marked and or need to be unlocked by recovering intel. Players may experience lower fps do to the amount of AI placed on the map but should notice a improvement after some of the AI are killed and deleted.

In order to disable auto fueling you will need to load the Optional Ravage Cup now available on the steam workshop.

(Beware when you first spawn in the scenario will be laggy for moment as the Loot Script kicks in.)


To save some performance I set most of the Editor placed AI to use Dynamic Simulation meaning they will remain inactive until player or enemy comes within 350 meters of them then when a player or enemy leaves the area AI will return to non active.

1. Tasks to complete with Loot rewards. (Make sure to read task info)
2. Roaming Friendlys with a 32% chance to encounter a trader.
3. Roaming AI Raider Factions with a 17% and 24% chance to hunt player.
4. Random AI Car Patrols.
5. AI Zombie Walkers and Runners. (New Horde System)
6. Dynamic Weather system with Day and Night cycle
7. Radioactive Zones and Rain
8. Random Amount of Heli Crash-Sites to find and loot. NEW
9. Ballistic Wind Simulation for Player and AI Projectiles.
10.Detrimental Weather Script adds cold weather to scenario. Cold Hours 6pm to 7am players must seek shelter and Build fire to combat cold or sickness wearing warmer clothing should help aswell. NEW
11.Zombies Drop basic Loot.
12.Time Acceleration set to x4 for more Night time play
13.28% Chance for AI to carry Military Style Gear. (New Launchers carried by AI)
14.Feral Dog packs in certain Area's on the map.
15. Ground Fog will start at night and end early in the morning. NEW

@LKLaRose - Did you ever figure out why the "Clear the Checkpoint" task won't complete?
I finally looked at it in the Eden Editor & there's an officer embedded inside the Hesco Bunker at the west end.
The task is basically "kill them all ...", but you can't kill him because bullets don't penetrate the Hesco barricade. I tried going up in the bunker and shooting through the floor, but that didn't work. Haven't tried shooting the bunker with a RPG yet.

New problem - one of the tasks is kill everyone and find the loot. I killed them all except the driver of an Offroad (HMG) who just drove away & disappeared. Can't find him anywhere, so I can't kill him and can't get a task complete. If I go on to do something else will he eventually come back?

In Alter Hill weapon mounted lights appear not to work and the handheld flashlight appears to die after a short time ... to short a time to find what you need to find to complete the task in such a large complex. And once the flashlight dies, you're stuck in the dark

I've also experienced the problem with some tasks not completing even though I've completed all of the necessary steps & found the "Loot rewards".

Great scenario. I completed the task "Clear the checkpoint", checked all around for additional enemy and couldn't find any but it would not show as completed on the tasks list. Am I missing something?

Couple points, really good mission having tasks with ravage on this epic map. Some problems though... Spoiler alert btw
I couldn't destroy the UAV terminal as there was no terminal in the camp, also the waypoint was about 250 meters underneath the camp ground... Gathering the intel in the alter hill complex was a nightmare to end up not finding (2 hours later). A couple other smaller tasks wouldn't complete for no reason, like finding the downed plane and helicopter. Other than that I have had a lot of fun playing this mission, Keep up the good work.

Has anyone else had issues with saves ? Just started this about an hour ago, immediately found some good loot, saved, then got side tracked IRL and died, tried to reload my save and it said that the save had files that had been deleted but i was literally just playing it, nothing had been deleted, gave it another go from a restart saved, tried to reload and the exact same thing happened. Any thoughts on were i went wrong ? Had a similar issue with another scenario out of nowhere. dunno if i accidentally broke something or what haha thanks for the help in advance

Hey, thx for you OutBreak scenarios, love them. I have quick Q, is it normal that i being oneshoted by infected thru the car? Even an speed 50+ if infected wasn't killed he kills me insted (sometimes they need one hit, sometimes two hits, but mostly one).!

Make sure that when your done playing you click save and exit others the game will not save

How can i save my progress ? my game doesn't seems to keep my progress saved when i quit the game and restart later.
