Achievement Notes.
Dark Angels: Masquerade of Shadows contains a total of 30 achievements, 21 of which are earned as part of the story and 9 which are missable, a single complete playthrough of Dark Angels: Masquerade of Shadows will net you 29 of the 30 achievements and a second very short (5 mins max) playthrough will be required to earn the final achievement.

First off there are no achievements related to difficulty, so start the game selecting a difficulty you are comfortable with. There are also no achievements related to watching the cut scene movies so achievement hunters feel free to skip if you wish, the story is actually half decent as hidden object games go, so consider enjoying the game, it's not that long anyway.

During your first playthrough reply to each of the psychiatrists questions, telling the truth, do not skip any of the mini game puzzles and do not use any hints in the hidden object games and this will net you 28 of the 30 achievements.

One potentially easily missable achievement to be aware of is... Inside the secret hideout at Candy's Café, there is a room with 6 portraits hanging on the walls, you have to click on each and read the descriptions to earn the "True historian" achievement, to ensure you do not miss this I would do it ASAP after you first enter the hideout.

If you do not do it before you leave the hideout at Candy's Café you will not be able to return and there is also a puzzle involving these portraits that opens the way to exit the hideout and I suspect if you do not earn "True historian" before you do this puzzle you will no longer be able to earn it. This will bring your achievement tally to 29.

For the final achievement, once your first playthrough is complete start up a new game and this time respond with a lie to each of the psychiatrists questions to earn the final achievement "Guerrilla" to 100% the game.

There are a total of 32 mini game puzzles in Dark Angels: Masquerade of Shadows, each offering an opportunity to earn this achievement.

The first opportunity to earn this achievement is the mini game that requires you to assemble the fashion collection for the courier which is shown at the 11m24s marker in Part 1 of my video walkthrough.

This achievement is earned as part of your natural progression through the game, when the "police" are trying to break down your front door you have to barricade the door before you can escape. This achievement is earned as part of your natural progression through the game when you get past the secret door at the back of candy's café. See video walkthrough part 2 from the 9m55s marker to the 11m24s marker for further information on how to do this.

There are a total of 12 HoG's in Dark Angels: Masquerade of Shadows, each offering an opportunity to earn this achievement, although if you are going for 100% you do not want to use a hint on any of them.

This achievement is earned as part of your natural progression through the game when you have cleaned and sharpened your chakram and you complete the mini game to learn how to use it. Tell the truth to psychologist.
During the intro of Dark Angels: Masquerade of Shadows you are at an appointment with your psychologist and she asks you a series of questions to which you can select different answers in response. Now there are two achievements related to this conversion, one for telling the truth and another for lying.

During your first play through answer all the questions, telling the truth to earn the "Trusting heart" achievement, see video walkthrough part 1 at the 0m50s marker for further information.

See "Guerrilla Achievement guide" for information on how to obtain the other achievement relating to this section of the game where you have to lie in response.

This achievement is earned as part of your natural progression through the game when you forge a pass, give it to the guard and gain entrance to the middle ages city. This achievement is earned as part of your natural progression through the game when you heal the monk that was pushed off the roof of a building that you saved by breaking his fall with a cart. This is a long process that starts at the 9m04s marker on video walkthrough part 6 and ends at 14m41s when you apply the bandage that you create.

Opened a way to the Cathedral.
This achievement is earned as part of your natural progression through the game when you open the gate leading to the cathedral. This is done by finding the secret room in the tavern and being given a key mould then creating the key in the blacksmiths and then using said key to open the gate, this process is very involved and is covered within most of video walkthrough part 7.

This achievement is earned as part of your natural progression through the game when you give the code to the barmaid in the tavern to get the key to the secret room. See video walkthorugh part 7 at the 3m05s marker to find the code.

This achievement is earned as part of your natural progression through the game when you enter the secret room in the tavern of the middle ages city. See video walkthrough part 7 for more information.

Unravel the secret of the casket.
This achievement is earned as part of your natural progression through the game, once you collect all the figurines that are placed on the relic that the elder gave you, that belonged to your mother you must win a game of draughts on the board, this achievement will pop when you do. This achievement is earned as part of your natural progression through the game when you defeat the final enemy in the warehouse in a duel while trying to blow up the time travel device. See video walkthrough part 8 of the 7m00s marker for more information.

This achievement is perhaps the most easily missed of all of the achievements. Before you leave the secret hideout at candy's café (before you complete the hide and seek game and take your mothers relic form the elder) in the portrait room click on each and every portrait to read its description and once you have clicked on all 6 this achievement will pop.

There are a total of 12 HoG's in Dark Angels: Masquerade of Shadows to earn this achievement you must complete 5 of them without using a hint, and if you want to earn 100% of the achievements for All-seeing eye do not use a hint on any of them.

Lied to psychologist.
It is impossible to earn the "Guerrilla" and the "Trusting heart" achievement in the same playthrough. As such, during your main playthrough during the psychologists interview reply with the truth to each of the psychologist questions to earn "Trusting heart".

Then, once you have completed your main playthrough start a new game and play to the psychologist interview once more, this time answer either with a lie or where not possible, stay silent, I believe you reply with a lie 4 times and remain silent with the 5th reply to earn the "Guerrilla".

Complete all mini-games without using "Skip" button.
There are a total of 32 mini game puzzles in Dark Angels: Masquerade of Shadows, complete all 32 of them without using the skip button and this achievement is yours.

Sadly yhfriesen, there is no trick to it other than persistence, some experience at playing chess/draughts is a help, more than anything it is luck. It took me 3 or 4 attempts, you'll just have to keep trying.

So I CAN NOT get past the "chess game". I'm totally useless!! How do I get passed this?? I have no hope of winning. Please somebody help!!

anrkyuk thanks again. You have many guides and still you take the time to answer everysingle one. I searched the one game you suggested to us and will play it soon. For now she choose Dreamscapes: The Sandman - Premium Edition. I have some Fanatical Bundles from Cryptic Bundles and those came with 10 games or so each bundle, so we have much to play toghether.
I wish i could give you stars for this guide but is not possible, duno why.

anrkyuk, THANKS for the guide! game is easy, I played it with my daughter, but after that I went through another playrun to get the few achivements left..... so my mayor problem came when I faced the Candy's Cafe Trap Wall.... YOU ARE THE BEST!! Your video in part 3 was like a miracle hahaha.
