NOTE: the cursor / Highlight needs to be on new game in oder to work properly.

KEYBOARD USERS

using Arrow keys hit Up, Up , Down , Down , Left , Right, Left , Right , Escape , Enter

You will see the achievement Pop and Unlock 1999 Mode.

Xbox 360 Remote users

Using the D-pad hit
Up, Up , Down , Down , Left , Right, Left , Right , B, A

1999 Mode , AS shown in the picture above. is a hardcore mode for the Best of the Best.

!! Tested loading from old Cloud saves,, It saves every save game,, so you can literally load any part of the game you want. You need to turn off Steam cloud on the game properties in order for it to load up the part / chapter you want. than once your on the part you want,,

@Tarranusarus. well the game uses Steam cloud,, for Save backups,, you could have just restored your save VIA uploading from CLoud instead of local. if it got accidently deleted.
