The Tyson class battlecruiser is designed to fill the role between my small ships and my GigaCredit behemoths. With good all around capabilities, the ship is designed to be able to take on everything from laserstarts to fast attack craft. It depends on the smaller ships in the fleet to fill in more specialized rolls, though it can and often does operate on its own. The weapons range from heavy attack drones to 500MW lasers. The ship can also act as a standard flagship, used for gunboat diplomacy and other paramilitary actions.
