Well to start , you basicly will spawn only with a pm makarov.
But you will want to talk to guy called blacksmith. As long you will read evrything
he says , you should be okay. In first quests they lead you from one location to another
forcing you into more other quests , witch is good since that can level you up.
And dont worry about gear at start. The first thing you want is level.
After you do enough of quests from lubech , at some point you will go out to forestland.
Thats then actual szone begins. I would recommend you to do Gournament quests.
Those are daily quests , witch gives you xp and some money. Then just keep doing other quests.
After you think you ready for gearing up . Go to locations populated with anomallies.
But make sure you have GPDA(P) or noraml GPDA device. And get like 600batery's atleast.
So you will go there, and use your device to farm artifacts , thats the source for money .

For next part , you might be level 10+ with some gear now.
Basicly ready to go destroy some mutants and tyred of quests.
Well then you should go farm xp against brutors( should buy xp pill to , they are cheap tbh.)

Well it will take some time but after you level up few times , you can start exploring , maybe go to vesuvius , but if you did missions you might allready visited most of maps.
Anyway , you got some gear and nice level , you should start thinking about joining a clan.
Some of clans are full agro , it means most of game clans are theyr enemy's and they fight evryone, and there is clans witch are chill and they got some allie's . Anyway you might join one , to have some fun pvp'ing taking over fort's and bases.

Things you should allways do:
-if you walk in location you dont know, spam q , for anomaly's.
-Allways have alot of ammo and medkits with yourself.
-Try to make friends , so you have someone to watch your back.
-Dont spend money on useless '' cool looking items ''
-Before choosing proffesion , you should find out whut's so special about it , and is it whut you want.
-If you griding money with GPDA , you should buy few extra and keep them in bank , if you lose your one.
