So sometimes there's a problem with achievement syncing to SocialClub - you'll get the Steam's achievement but it does not register in SocialClub. Has happened to me with "Auto Fanatic" and "Bulletproof Windshield".

This is due to sync-triggering by L.A. Noire's engine. Sometimes you have to go to some checkpoint location, end current event or something like that to trigger it. Quickest way is to go to game's menu after Steam's achievement is shown, then change something (turn auto-aim on for example), exit menu and game will sync.

edit: just checked it out again. Same thing was with "Roscoe And Friends", used the flamethrower and Steam ach. appeared, nothing on SocialClub's side because no sync event was triggered - so went to display options, changed it to Black&White and voila, synced.

Works for me.

I'm not having a problem with any Achievements.It's with a Persons of Interest in the Buyer beware case.

After i finished the case i went to display options,changed it to Black&White and it came up saving content.Checked my case tracker in the Social Club for my account and for the Buyer beware case it still has 1 Persons of Interest not 2(i can't get Edgar Kalou to register).

I have tried this so many times it doing my head in!!.

Any help with this would be great.

For some reason, I'm having the exact opposite problem:
I earned a ton of the Social Club achievements through the physical Complete Edition DVD long before I ever purchased the digital copy on Steam, and while a few of the story-related ones (e.g. game completion, all clues) popped the first time I loaded the game in Steam, none of the car/collectible ones did. And now I can't earn any of them again legitimately in Steam without creating a new Social Club account, because the game itself thinks I already have all of them. 😕😑😒
