So, I'm guessing if you're reading this, you're wanting to know "How do i get off to a good start in Terraria?" Well, this advice may not be useful, but here:

1. Either start off in a Medium or Small world, And normally you can spawn near a Chest or some Ores.
2. Build a quick house just for the night, then if you want to, expand it later
3. Go mining either after the first night or before the first night.
4. If you're a newbie, play on SOFTCORE. Unless you're used to dying and losing all your items (Minecraft logic) then play on softcore.
5. Never forget to craft atleast a Wooden Sword or a Copper Broadsword for the night. The copper shortsword is ♥♥♥♥.
P.S: If you're planning on fighting any of the bosses, atleast be prepared w/ silver or gold armor and atleast shurikens and/or throwing knives. Yea.
