1) Go to > C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc

2) open the Host file

3) add at the bottom :


65.112.87.186 hd2.available.gamespy.com
65.112.87.186 hd2.master.gamespy.com
65.112.87.186 hd2.ms14.gamespy.com

It should look like this :


4) save the data / possible restart pc

Steam gives out the same key to everyone (not supported) so you need to manipulate your key.
Everytime you start Steam this key will be set to default.
1) Start your game and tab out to windows.
2) Open your regedit ( windows -> start -> run -> "regedit" -> enter) or just search for it.
3) navigate to this path :
Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Illusion Softworks\Hidden & Dangerous 2
4) change the key "key" as follows :

Change the key where the Xs are, leave the 0s as they were. And you can add 20 more characters onto the default cd key to make it more unique.

000X-0000-X000-0000XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

5) Press "Ok"
6) Open game again refresh server and have fun

1) Forward and open your port (default 11001 / UDP ) on your firewall and router
2) Host Server via The serverlauncher or the game itself.
