The Final Lesson (A walk in the park guide-Boss fight)
由 Beso2end 制作
Hey there!

If you are anything like me, you were not prepared for such a tough fight. So, let's assume you tried to beat Gregoire fair and square, aaand...you lost…numerous times. I pretty much was screwed since I haven't properly leveled my fencing skill. Anyways, you might be wondering what I did?

Alright, here are the requirements:
1- A musket
2- The "Musketeer" skill.

This is basically what you have to do:
1- First, you need to stay on the exact spot on which the Indian will stay. This will help you avoid his first shot which is the most important step, otherwise he will kill you.
2- Get the four of them to follow you and head into the water.
3- Keep zig zagging in the water until you're ready to fire another shot of your musket.
4- As soon as you're out of the water, fire your musket. You'll notice they're still swimming over there. Once you're done, get back into the water.
5- Keep doing the same thing over and over until you're done.

Tips:
- Take the Indian out first because you're done for if the guy gets out of the water.
- Use the fast forward option to make the fight go by faster.
- Press W along with D or A while running. For some reason this makes your character go faster. THIS IS ESSENTIAL so you can zig zag without any problems.
- You do not need anything else. You will not have to waste any potions if you know the pattern.
- What makes this tactic so effective is that they will keep swimming to get to you in the water but they will not be able to attack, giving you ample time to get out of the water and shoot them.

P.S Stand on the traitor's body and enjoy your victory!

The boost due to pressing W along with D or A comes from something that has been referred to as "strafe boosting" within games. You can see an early example of it in the classic DooM games, in which running forward while strafing gave the player a large speedboost. There are several good examples of games that give some sort of benefit, unintended or otherwise, to strafe movement. It basically allows you to outrun any npc in this game, in some cases to comical effect.

Can't believe I never thought to draw them into the water and shoot them. Will definitely have to try this out the next time I play through!
