Realistic Amsterdam

First of all, I am not a native speaker of English. I apologize for any inconvenience caused from depiction.

Realistic Amsterdam Map is a 1:1 scale map,which is 17Km by 17Km square actual size in real wordmap.All the freeway nets are as real as they are and the interchange roads are all real ones. Unfortunately, the railway and canals can only draw a rough picture because of game restrictions.

This map actually includes five areas: Amsterdam Center, West Amsterdam, Amsterdam-Noord, Westport and Schiphol Airport.

And the starting area is Amsterdam Center train station.


Why I choose Amsterdam?

Amsterdam is the sixth largest city in Europe with a population of 6.7 million with a long history and a rich cultural atmosphere. Canal is more popular attractions(The entire Amsterdam area has only 1,5 million inhabitants and the city itself only 860.000. The entire Randstad area has close to 7 million though--by [2]SearchMe).

The city has several advantages in the game, most of them are canals , farmlands and forests.Therefore, unlike the traditional big city covered the entire map, gamer just need to extend from the center of Amsterdam.

The harbor is located at west and the Schiphol Airport below.Any kinds of players will be satisfied.

I suggest using the stone seawall PROP .The Metropolitan Sunken Wall 4 EU is not recommended, because of its characteristics(count as building), the canal is too narrow and the water won't flow.


To senior players,I hope this map will save you a lot of preliminary work and time, building a real city directly.Maybe one day I'll see Youtuber like Crumbs McGee, Infrastructurist, TazerHere, Skibitth, two dollars twenty. Use this map (My Paranoia).

For average players, do not use MOD or like that,I'm not sure you guys will have fun on this map ,because some of the canals are too narrow,You will only feel disappointed if you do not modify it yourself.

IMPORTANT:
1.Into the map,player should Not adjust sea level to normal,because of the restrictions of map diter,this map has some roads is under the sea level.
To not make these roads flooding,do not adjust sea level easily.

2.To avoid roads flooding,I also adjust some road level.If you feel find,you don't need to do anything.
