In this game you will have to join a server and play with people. From there you will join in and be involved into a firefight between the Counter Terrorists and Terrorists. Choose your side and prepare to fight.

NOTE!

There are maps with letters in the beginning so you'll have to remember what they stand for on what objective you are playing.

DE maps are bomb maps, involving Terrorists planting the bomb with the Counter Terrorists having to defuse.

CS maps are hostage maps, Counter Terrorists must escort the hostages to the safe zone, Terrorists must keep the Counter Terrorists away from them. Do NOT kill the hostages, you lose money and its important.

AS maps are escort VIP. Counter Terrorists must escort VIP to the safe zone. As VIP, you follow the Counter Terrorists as they protect you. You are only armed with a pistol, dont die or else Counter Terrorists loses, resulting to Terrorists to be the victor. As Terrorist, you either kill the vip, all the opposing team, or hold off the safe zone until times up. This is something you will rarely see in servers, as it is not very popular.

In both of these modes holds a time limit, anything involves defending you must hold off until time is up. Any teams that involves doing a objective must get it done before times up or else its a loss for your team!

When joining whether Counter Terrorist (CT) or Terrorist (T), you will also need to choose a character. Any characters wont matter as it holds no special ability or some sort. Just a simple look on the character when joining the game, everyone plays the same.

By default you will start the game at a spawn area with $800. From there you go to buy menu and select which weapon you are bringing into the fight. Then, you do your objective. Whoever gets the most point wins the game.

Theres 2 ways of winning the round.

1. You kill all opposing team.

2. You complete your objective.

Failure to complete your objective within the time limit is a win to the enemy team. Even in some case such as bomb objective if all opposing terrorists died, you still need to defuse the bomb. Failure to do that is a win to the terrorists regardless they all died. There is also an overall timer, showing how long the game in general will last. It can either have a time limit or be unlimited depending what server you joined in. When the time is up, the scoreboard will be shown and then the next map will load up. Which will restart the score.

At the start of the game, you will notice there are weapons that you cant get because you dont have enough money. To get money you need to get kills or do objective. More of all, win the game. You can still earn money from losing, but only small amount. You earn alot more from winning. Win more, earn more. Win less, earn less. Consecutive wins are excellent way to earn money.

If you are poor, best thing to do is buy a weapon that is cheap and useful. Such as the desert eagle, however there is more guns you can buy and make use of it. Or, you can keep your default pistol (secondary weapon) and use it from there, so you can take your teammate/enemy primary weapon. Which is alot cheaper that way, whats important is knowing how to use it.

When shooting some automatic guns such as Ak47 and M4A1. It is wise to not spray, because the bullets can fly off the crosshair and doing it in a long distance battle will most likely miss. Do a 3 round burst or single fire to improve your aim and last the fight longer. Headshots are important if you want to win the fight and waste less ammo.

The guns in the buy menu will be in use of you when you purchase them later on as you earn money. Dont die and make use of them, if you die you will lose that weapon. Not only that, but you will have to wait until the end of round to spawn. Use the guns that fits to you. Most people these days mostly use Ak47 (Terrorist) and M4A1 (Counter Terrorist). Learn to use those weapons and get the feeling of it. The accuracy is different and its power.

Always remember to also buy ammo for primary (after buying or already equipped a primary weapon) and secondary. Buy armor when you can through the equipment menu, you'll receive less damage when wearing it. Though while its protection is not as good, it still has better resistance than without it. If you run out of ammo, you can always take guns from either dead teammate or dead enemies which contains ammo. Remember to drop your already equipped gun in order to pick it up. Note that pistols will always be secondary and whatever other guns you have is primary.

Some servers have a time limit on how long you can buy, when the time expires you no longer will buy stuff until the round ends.

You can play new game and check the buy menu yourself if you wish to understand better on using it.

Every server should have rules (usually), which we need to follow. There will be admins around to make sure everyone follows the rules. If they say anything you should or shouldnt do, listen or else you get punished. I suggest joining a server on the languages you understand to prevent risk getting kicked or banned because you dont understand what they are saying. Theres usually kicks, limited ban, or permanent ban depending on your action. Kicks for example involves afk, or being disrespectful. Limited bans usually involves being disrespectful or not listening to the admin when they give you a warning. Permanent ban involves hackers or any cheaters. Usually admins can warn you before taking action when it comes to kick or limited ban. There are no warnings for hacks or cheats. This all varies on the servers you play.

Counter Strike 1.6 is a competitive game which focus on team objective. When you win, you will receive a point for your team. Remember also when browsing the server to choose a server with small latency. The higher it is, the more difficult it is for you to play. There are modded servers as well. Such as GG (GunGame), ZM (Zombies), ZE (Zombie Escape), and more like JB(Jailbreak) and even Deathrun (Deathrun). Theres many different kind of mods.

Servers are also run by Owners and Admins. They are in control of the server. So please remember to obey the rules and be polite as well. Failure to do so may result whether a warning, kick, or ban (depending how long which depends by your actions). Cheating is usually not allowed and lead to permanent ban, so play fairly!
