Installing PS4 Button Prompts
Locate your game's install directory. It is probably something like "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Omega Quintet"

Download this file[drive.google.com] and unzip it into the install directory. This adds the file Keyboard.dds into the install directory's \global\Texture path.

That's it, you're done. Thanks to Nicolae Berbece for providing the button images.

I also had a hard time at first finding the right tools for modding. The place where I finally learned what I needed was in a forum thread for nude mods. Don't underestimate the resourcefulness of people who want to see anime tiddies.

There is a tool called QuickBMS that is a generic archive unpacking tool. Scripts for QuickBMS exist for a great many games. Once unpacked, many games store their textures in .dds format, which can be edited with Paint.NET . IIRC this particutar .dds format required a plugin for Paint.NET in order to edit.

This game in particular looks for loose files before looking in its own archives, so re-packing the texture into the achive is unneccessary.

Thanks, that was easy lol. I usually unzip files in my downloads folder to see what it has and didn't see any equivalent folders in OQ's directory. But dragging 'global' to the install directory definitely works.

Just unzip the file into the game's install folder and those subfolders will be added.

I don't see any global or texture folder anywhere in Omega Quintet's directory.

Uploaded a new version with the buttons centered a little better.
