People may have started noticing that since the last patch, they are unable tos ee any multiplayer lobbies, even though they know someone is hosting a game. This guide applies to all mods, and the base game (EaW or FoC).

Essentially, the only games shown to you are games which are running the same version of you. even if you think you're on the same version, stray files can sometimes exist that are messing up your game. There's a simple way, and a slightly less simple way to do it. I suggest trying the simple way, and then the more complicated if it persists. There's a video guide demonstrating each step at the bottom, for those who prefer that.

Simplest:
1. Go into Steam Library, right click on Forces of Corruption. Properties.
2. Go to the local files, and click "verify the integrity of game files."

That will re-acquire any missing files, but sometimes there's extra files it won't clean up properly. In that case:
1. Go into your ...Steam\steamapps\common\Star Wars Empire at War\corruption folder
2. Delete the Data folder in ther entirly.
3. Now repeat the steps of the simple solution, and it will re-download a properly cleaned copy of the game.

Now, you should be able to see lobbies!
