How to get your downloaded mods/addons to work in Synergy

Ever had the problem in Synergy where you had downloaded some content from the Synergy workshop page and when you try to test them, they won't work?
In this short guide i will show you how to make your downloaded mods/addons work in Synergy.

1. Subscribe to the content from the Synergy workshop.

2. Go to the folder where the Steam workshop downloads your subscribed items.

3. Copy everything from that folder.

4. Go to your Synergy installation folder (game folder).

5. From the Synergy folder find the "custom" folder and paste the copied folders there.

6. Aaaand you're done!

1. Subscribe to the content from the Synergy workshop.

Go to the Steam workshop page for Synergy and subscribe to the mods/addons you want.

2. Go to the folder where the Steam workshop downloads your subscribed items.

Now that you have subscribed to everything you wanted, navigate to this path on your PC: \steamapps\workshop\content\17520

The full path is usually like this: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\17520

3. Copy everything from that folder.

There should be a bunch of folders and their names are only a bunch numbers. Copy all of these, because these are all the mods/addons you have subscribed to in the Synergy workshop page.

4. Go to your Synergy installation folder (game folder).

Next you need to go to your Synergy game folder. The path should look like this:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Synergy\synergy

5. From the Synergy folder find the "custom" folder and paste the copied folders there.

From here you should find a folder called "custom", if its not there you should just be able to create one yourself and it should work. Paste all the copied folders in that "custom" folder.

6. Aaaand you're done!

Your addons/mods should now work!

If they don't, your mod/addon might be outdated and won't work with the new versions of the game.
