I had a cheaper design that worked and was fast but something I did to it to adjust the stability messed up the AI so now, while it is capable of moving around in the water near the edge of islands and what not, the AI just won't swim out into open water. Haven't been able to fix it since then. It's like it is physically capable of moving normally in water, but it doesn't know how to path correctly.

Hey Randomnumbers, I'm linking this creation in my next guide. If there is a META for this game, the groveller is definitely part of that.
Do you ever consider playing uncrewed again? There is even a discord now (link pinned in forum).

Yeah it does flip every so often but but it's still pretty much the best you can get if you want initial bang for your buck, plus if it's around others then they auto-smartly unflip each other quickly enough.
