The author did mention this, but I can only stress that you need to take a look at your GK and SW as a team - one of the two should most definitely have the reaction skill, and the long pass skill probably also makes sense to have for one of the two, imho.
Defenders cannot learn "Interception"!
Else a nice guide. FW with "Slide Tackle" is incredible good!
For my own personal opinon: the DM is already a very powerful class, so even getting the 'free bonus' on intercept is very generous! As for the CF, I dont like the class much, but the + Headplay is actually very useful, in fact its the only reason why I'd spec a young F into a CF over an FW, if he had headplay as his quickest trainable skill.
It might not sound like much but the extra +25 (on top +75 from level 3 headplay - yes the bonus stacks!!!) can provide you with just that little extra to beat low-ish CTR keepers, even at Premiership/Champions League level. Just my 2p anyway! haha
CF with +1 Headplay bonus (free) + 1/3 Headplay (Learned)
-or-
CF with +1 Headplay bonus (free) + 1/3 Cannon, Rainbow etc.
*NOT*
CF with +1 Headplay bonus (free) + 1/3 Heaplay (learned) + 1/3 Rainbow (learned)
I know this because headplay is all I ever train my CFs in, and none of them have the option to train a second skill. Hope this helps? Again, brilliant guide, thumbsed up!
